"What are we running? A marathon?" asked Matt

"We can slow down if you want to!" I said

"Nah, it's fine. I talked to Bonnie!" said Matt, making me stop my tracks

"What did she say?" I asked

"They're at her mom's house. Abby's gonna complete the transition" said Matt

"That's good" I said, Matt nodded

"Caroline's gonna help her through it. Teach her control and stuff" said Matt

"Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked

"She knows it's not your fault, Y/n, she's just...upset" he said

"Damon turned her mom into a vampire, to stop the spell. I don't know why he would want to stop the spell, but...I don't regret it. I hope Abby gets through being a vampire well though. And the fact that I didn't want them to die in the first place makes it my fault" I said, as I turned around

"You're gonna make me run more, aren't you?" asked Matt, but then my phone rang

"Who is it?" asked Matt 

"Liz? Is everything ok?" I asked, Liz told me that Ric was in jail, "Oh, gosh, ok, I'll be right there"

"I'm sorry, Matt, I gotta go" I said

"It's alright. See ya" said Matt

"Bye" I said, and sped away to Ric

"Were you just with--" I started

"Ric's fine. Sheriff wants me to stay out of it" said Damon

"But you're not going to, are you?" I asked

"Seems just as good a plan as any" said Damon

"Your friend's in jail from framing. You can't possible be that careless" I said

"Well, I guess I could rip out Dr. False accusation's throat or maybe her tongue. You know, I could chew it in little, tiny pieces like squirrels" said Damon

I rolled my eyes "I guess I'll deal with it, then"

"Whatever you want" said Damon, as I walked away

 I went to go talk to Meredith, she saw me

"I'll do in surgery. Whatever case you're gonna make against Alaric, make it quick" said Meredith

"He's innocent, I have no case to make" I said

"How do you know? Sure, you live with him, he takes care of you, but do you rally know anything about him?" asked Meredith

"Yeah. I know a lot" I said

"Let me tell you what I know. He was arrested for fighting 4 times before the age of 21. When he was at duke, his future wife Isobel filed a restraining order against him, twice! Although then she married him, so I guess that says more about her" said Meredith

"Even if he did, he changed. And where's the evidence? You're the one who had a bloody knife at home, and you shot Alaric just because he was confused and came to you with it. To probably ASK why you have it. And I mean, he probably had a good reason to fight 4 people. The world's filled with psychopaths, Meredith" I said

"How would you know? You took pity on a borderline alcoholic vampire hunter, and you never even thought to look any deeper" said Meredith

"Look, Ric would never hurt me and my friends, and that's all I care about. You're framing him, and that's that" I said
