I was sitting on the couch, just reading some of the Jonathan Gilbert Journals, for fun, since I already knew.
It said: "I saw the vampire who killed me, I recognized him. Stefan Salvatore"

I was still reading the journal and hating on Jonathan Gilbert, when suddenly, Stefan came in, making me jump, lol
There was a Lon silence as he put away his coat
"Are you still mad?" I asked, breaking the awkwardness
He laughed humorlessly "Yeah, I'm still mad", he never shows it when he's mad...
"We have different opinions, Stefan. No one agrees on everything" I said
"Y/n, you've agreed to sacrifice yourself to Klaus. To say that we have a difference of opinion, is the understatement of the century" he said
"Thing is, Elena doesn't die in the series. She doesn't come back as a vampire either, she just....wakes up" I said
"Hmm, what does Johnathan Gilbert have to say?" he asked
"He's...a lying freak. He said that he recognized the person who killed him. You. But like, if you know who killed you, after you die, how are you able to write it in your journal- Unless....you're wearing that ring" I said, handing him the journal, and waiting as he read it.
"We were, uhh...we were angry at the founding families, for what they did to Katherine" he reminded
"Right. And you didn't know about his ring. Wait, did he have a ring?" I asked, he nodded
"He described you as a monster" I said
"That's what I was" he said
"No..no that's not how Seline described it. She saw innocence in you. You're not a monster" I said
"You know the stories already....and I do still feel bad" he said
"You were acting worse than Damon, but you never meant to be. You just had trouble controlling your thirst...and we both know who helped you, may she rest in piece" I said, he nodded

I was looking out the window, then Stefan came in with some drinks, I put in my daily vervain in it, and drank it.
"You're really used to drinking vervain now, huh?" he asked
"Yeah, it's like drinking coke or sprite. It burns, but it doesn't hurt" I said
"This is actually the scene how you tell Elena the story of how you met Lexi. Let's not talk about her, it brings pain, the idea of her death" I said

I then saw the part about how to kill an original
"There is information to kill an original here. But the dagger doesn't kill them, that's just what they think. Only a white oak" I said
"Well, how do we get the wood from the white oak tree? Where is it?" he asked
"They burned it to the ground 1,000 years ago. To protect themselves" I said
"Is there any other white oak left?" he asked
"Yeah. But I won't tell, I don't want you or anyone else harming the originals. Yes, I did hate them at some point, but that was before I got to know them. They're a family, Stefan. Just like everyone else, just a little bit violent, make that a lot. Stubborn, and cocky" I said
