GIYU'S POV
I witnessed how the flames engulfed the notes I wrote for somebody. The ashes were carried away by the wind. The silence made the scene before me seem serene, and all I can hear now is the sound of stones colliding as I step into my foot.
As Mitsuri sprayed perfume on my shirt, a fine mist kissed my cheeks. I gave her a small smile.
"Hi, love. Here's the water you asked for earlier." Mitsuri handed me her water bottle. I nodded as thanks and got it from her.
"You know you should stop calling me 'love'," I spoke. She laughed. "Iguro's going to kill me." I continued.
"I don't think he minds though. Not sure." She giggled. "I call everyone love."
She looked at me as I put out the fire I made earlier.
"Are you sure you won't ever tell her?" She asked me. I can hear the sadness in her voice. She symbolizes love anyways.
"I don't think she minds." I simply said.
The flames have thoroughly erased all the written love I have for her. But never the real love. I sprayed water on the scalding embers, and they've all gone out... I believed it was gone for good.
