My 27th Birthday Message

Before my 27th birthday ends here in the US (my birthday already ended in the Philippines), I just want to express my gratitude to my ever-loving husband for the gifts he gave me in advance, the journal and pens, for the cake he made me, for singing happy birthday with Sharinne, for cooking dinner and for watching a movie with me. I love him to death. I really appreciate the things he did today and for everything he has done. I'm so grateful and lucky. I also want to thank my mom-in-law for the birthday card and her colleague Naomi, (I didn't meet yet) for the drawing on the card. I love mom's birthday message and the artwork. I couldn't stop looking at it when I received it. I will keep it so long as I'm breathing. I love letters and cards. I will write a birthday letter to myself later tonight for the first time. I usually write something on my birthday and this time is a letter.

I love it when people remember my birthday and my sister, Angie, Alysa and Kevin have never failed to greet me on my birthday. They still greet me on time (Philippine time) without FB reminding them. Yunno, I really appreciate them. I want to say thanks to Angel Lie, Irene, my relative Celyn and Theresa (we shared the same birthday) for the birthday greetings as well. Thanks to the people mostly the neighbors who commented their greetings on my sister's post. Hihi

I'm really getting older and I mentioned to my hubby last night that I didn't like it. Now that I got Sven. I want to see him grow and have his own family. I even want him to marry early so I will be able to spend more time with my grandchildren. See what being a mother has done to me. I don't mind getting old before and birthdays don't bother me but now that I got a child, I kind of want my age to freeze so I could be with Sven, watch him grow and witness his achievements in life. All I can do is to be mindful of what I eat and be healthy so I can be with him for longer.

Sven's 1st birthday will be in 3 days, on the 28th. I remember I spent my birthday at the hospital a year ago cos preterm labor. We went home in the afternoon and were happy about it. I didn't give birth on my birthday but 3 days later, Sven was so excited to see the world two months earlier. I'm excited about his birthday and I'll be busy in the next two days compiling his photos and videos and making a birthday video for him. I will write a letter for him as well and will keep his birthday letters.

PS. And oh, the Animal Crossing animals celebrated my birthday! It was a surprise and awesome! I was really happy! I will upload it on Youtube later!
