A quick little run down of what I do

Start from the beginning

I didn't really modify a lot of the stuff for the monoline brush actually

But here's all the settings I guess lol

Um, I use a LOT of layers
And don't really merge them unless completely necessary

I use the select tool a lot
And for shading,

I have a separate layer, where I've lowered the opacity
The real color of the shading would like pretty silly without the opacity down

And for like, coloring in
I'd duplicate the Lineart layer, and then color drop the colors I'd be using, and if I need to color over then lines at any point then it'll be fine because the original Lineart layer above is still intact

It's basically,

Hiding all your mistakes under the rug! :D

Like I said, I use the select tool a lot

For shading, I'd click on the layer with all the colors on it
And then press the select button

Then it won't let you color outside the lines!!

I also use this tool for eye coloring
