Chapter 9

TUMIKHIM nang malakas si Devi nang hindi gumalaw si Castiel matapos niya itong halikan. Well, she was hell'a shock too, parang may sariling utak ang katawan niya at kusa nalang lumapit sa lalaki para halikan ito. His lips was soft, wala siyang pinagsisihan sa ginawang paghalik niya rito.

"Say something, Castiel." Untag niya rito.

"Don't kiss me again, I might lose my shit." He said, almost a whisper. Napatanga si Devi sa lalaki, hindi ba nito nagustuhan? Oh well, it was her first time to kiss. Maybe a smack kiss won't do.

Devi stop thinking nonsense when Castiel flicked her forehead. She gasped and placed her hand on her forehead. Ang sakit!

"Little bee, I know what you're thinking. I like it, but don't do that again. Baka makalimutan ko na nanliligaw pa lang ako sayo, saan pa tayo mapadpad." He sighed and stroke her hair carefully, his hand on her head was giving her a massive heart attack!

"Nanliligaw? Hindi pa ba okay sayo 'yung sagot ko?" Her eyes widened when she burst out those questions. Agad siyang yumuko para maitago ang pamumula nang mga pisngi niya, baka isipin nito easy to get naman siya.

Pero kailangan ba talaga patagalin ang panliligaw? She doesn't have enough experience when it comes to this. Ang nasa utak lang ni Devi, bakit pa patatagalan? They both like each other, then they should be together. Simple.

"Little bee, don't make me blush here. May trabaho pa tayo." Napasinghap si Devi nang hatakin siya papalapit ni Castiel sa katawan nito at basta nalang ibinaon ang ulo sa may balikat niya.

"It's already time and you two, being mushy mushy there, will be going late. Kayo na ba? Maka yakap ka wagas ah?"

Sabay silang napatingin ni Castiel sa pinanggalingan nang boses. Devi knew that voice even though madalang niya lang itong marinig. Her cheeks heated up when she saw the face of her boss, Light Perez. He was sitting comfortably on the stool chair while leaning his cheeks against his fist.

"Ginagawa mo dito, Meralco? Hindi ka man lang kumatok hayop ka." Castiel blanky said.

"Aww, okay I'll knock next time. Ayoko naman gayahin si Mikael. Anyways, you two were official now right?" Bumaling ito sa kanya at ngumiti. The kind of smile that any woman would definitely fall on their knees and bow down to him.

"Yes," mahinang sagot niya rito.

"Nice! Take care of him, he may be handful most of the times but he's good. Trust me." Light said, napaka seryoso ng mukha nito habang nakatingin sa kanya. Then he suddenly smiled. Devi wanted to asks if he's bipolar but chooses not to. Tumingin ito kay Castiel na nakadukmo pa rin sa balikat niya. Mahigpit ang hawak nito sa baywang niya, pero hindi sa paraan na masasaktan siya.

"There's no need for you to sulk, asshole! Get your ass up and work! Ihahatid ko ang magandang balita sa mga kaibigan natin! Freshly baked! Castiel hindi na sad boy!" Light exclaimed and even draw a board in the air using his fingers. "On the second thought, 'wag muna kayo pumasok. Ako na ang bahala kay Xyria! Enjoy?"

"Tangina mo, umalis ka na!" Pikon na sigaw ni Castiel sa kaibigan, her eyes widened when Castiel threw the spoon towards Light's direction. Mabuti na lang at hindi ito natamaan.

Light was even laughing when he left them.

"Pupulutin ko lang 'yung tinapon mo na kutsara." Devi mumbled but his gripped on her just tightened. "Why are you being like this, Castiel?" Marahan na tanong niya rito at bahagyang tinapik ang balikat nito.

"Can we stay like this for a while? Tutal hindi naman tayo papasok ngayon, I just need to calm my heart. Fuck this." He uttered and hissed the last words.
