Allison's POV
"Um Excuse me." I said. The girl turned around fast looking at me. It was Kayla. I looked over at the guy and my jaw dropped to the floor.
"Riker?"
He just sat there his face in shock.
I felt something wet and cold running down my face. I brought my index finger up to underneath my eye and noticed I was crying.
"We're done." I said, looking him straight in the eye. He didn't reply. I dropped my books and they made a loud thud. I don't need the extra weight. I ran out of the cafeteria, not looking back. I ran all the way home and I didn't stop until I got there.
I ran upstairs into my room and locked myself in there, ignoring my mom who was asking me why I'm home early and why I'm crying.
I curled up in a ball in the corner of my room. I tried to hold in my sobs but it's so difficult. I could barely breathe it felt like someone was choking me and I was left gasping for air.
I thought Riker cared about me and wanted to protect me but in reality he was just using me.
