Jocelyn Evans was ten years old when she had lost her mom.

Her mom was a scientist for Stark Industries who was working along scientists to examine the tesseract. While testing its power, the infinity stone absorbed the energy around it to suddenly release it in an explosion. Everyone in the building died that day. All but one.

Young Jocelyn Evans was taken with her mom that day to work. The babysitter had cancelled last minute and both parents had to work while Ellie was at a friends house for a playdate. Jocelyn's mom had no other option than to take her to work.

The ten year old girl was placed in a chair on the side of the walls and was given a puzzle to amuse herself. But the little girl found herself quite bored of doing the same puzzle over a span of two hours. 

Her eye caught a bird in the lab making the girl watch it silently in her seat. She giggled as it stole a scientists pencil and flew away quickly, causing the man to start shouting at a coworker beside him accusing them of taking it.

The girl watched it mindlessly flew around and found herself on her feet walking around the room, following it. The girls pace began to quicken, giggling as she ran around the room. Scientists began yelling at the girl to go sit down but she didn't listen.

Instead, she held her arms out to pretend she was flying too as she ran around the room.

Unaware of the girl running around, the scientists started the machine to shoot 100 000 volts of energy into the infinity stone. As the machine powered up, everyone watched as the volts got shot into the growing block.

Then, the tesseract began glowing brighter. The tesseract was absorbing the energy. Realizing what was about to occur everyone began shouting to evacuate. Everyone trampled out, leaving everything behind. Jocelyn's mom though ran to get her daughter to see the chair she was told to wait in was empty. 

She turned around in time to see her daughter run right in front of the dangerously explosive tesseract. She shouted at Jocelyn to run but it was too late.

Jocelyn stopped in her tracks hearing her mom, finally noticing the chaos happening around. She saw something glowing behind her and turned to see a glowing box. Jocelyn heard the panic in her mom's voice but didn't feel scared staring at the blue energy source. Her head tilted slightly in confusion, looking back at her mom to see her running towards her with tears laced in her eyes.

But before her mom could get to her, everything went dark.

The tesseract had exploded causing anything in 400 feet radius to be demolished. That day, people had lost their spouses, children, and loved ones. But Jocelyn had lost her mom but gained a new part of herself.

She calls herself Aura. 

After the explosion occurred, the girl realized that she had gained something from that event. Her standing so close must have caused her to absorb some of its energy. Granting her the ability to control the air.

First, she was scared. The ability of air could quite literally kill someone and she wasn't ready to become a monster. But after realizing the beauty behind the powers, she began using it for good.

At age 14, she began going to the streets to protect her neighbourhood. She used black leggings, a black hoodie, and a ski mask to protect her identity. But found majority of the time, many assumed she was the villian as she was dressed like a cliche robber.

So she saved some money from some babysitting jobs and ordered a suit. It is black and white, with hints of purple. She had a mask that covered her face to protect her identity. But she became an idol in her neighbourhood.
