"Were you off to somewhere..? " she questioned, her eyes narrowing slightly.

"Oh.. No. I just came back." I replied, replacing my forced grin with a smile.

Her nod showed that she wasn't quite satisfied by my small sentence that basically revealed nothing. She cleared her throat, crossing her arms as she spoke, slightly hesitant that didn't sit well with her personality to be honest.

"Where... I mean to say... You were with your.. friends?"

I thought for a while, replying this question the same way as I did with others.

"Yes... Lunch with my... friends" I pressed my lips, playing along. How bad I want to reach the door of my room, just inches apart from me at this moment.

"I see... Well then, have some rest. We'll continue this chit chat some other day. Good day Heaven.. " she greeted with that proud voice and a slight warm feeling.

"Thank you. You too. "

Even Julian's guests carry that boldness in their personality so effortlessly. I watched her walk back inside the hallway. I wish I knew how to behave like her... Well, right now, all I wish for is my bed and potential to wake up in other reality.

I sat staring at the clock, regretting taking sleeping pills. Well too late for that as it's midnight and I've already slept for nine hours.

Unwillingly, I wiggled myself down my bed, stretching as I felt my head spinning. There wasn't anything significant to remember either. Pulling my shorts over my thighs, I slid open the curtains from the corner.

It's pitch black outside, without any moonlight it seemed like someone uncrowned the beauty of night the only pure source shining when nobody's watching. There's no better way to describe my life than the moon. I have my phases, I wish to be as radiant, as flawless but it's not always your perfection, sometimes it's your flaws you're known for.

Sighing I glanced over at Dad's journal on the nightstand. Those pages are growing old day by day, maybe one day in a condition when it will no more be comprehensible to anyone.

Everything was so quick that I couldn't manage my pain in loosing my everything and loosing myself into everyone else's arms. Everyone else has control over my life than me, advices, rules, wrongs - rights...

Dada... I wish you taught your Coco how to live life like this. The girl who was never touched by even the essence of pain, is left in complete misery...

I turned around on my heels and rushed towards my laptop, opening my mail and found exactly what I worried about. There was the mail from cosmos streets, between all other discount on groceries mails.

"Greetings Miss Heaven Eloise.

We're elated to extend the offer of employment to you on behalf of THE COSMOS STREETS. You've been selected as the best candidate for the assistant manager's position. Congratulations and best of luck for your life ahead. "

It stated formally with few attached documents and number of formalities. I didn't feel anything... No matter how big of a dream it was to get a place in the The Cosmos, but this in contrary, doesn't make me go on cloud nine like I thought. I was smart enough to realize it was Ariana who would do this.. She's an angel for having pity on me but no matter my conditions, I can't accept this as an excuse for them.

Sighing I glanced over at the ticking clock that disappointed me a bit as it's midnight and I can't interrupt her sleep right now. I'm probably the craziest person alive at the moment. What kind of a genius would reject the long awaited mail from the biggest magazine production company? Me, of course..
