HEAVEN'S POV:

My whole body shivered while I blushed heavily. This is why I don't like going outside. This pleasant sunlight under which we were chuckling happily was now burning holes in my already burning skin out of shyness. I peeked a little glance at where Julian stood, turning around abruptly.

"In my office. After you're done. " he ordered her while storming off instantly. Even though he left, embarrassment still bolted through my veins. Ariana faced me who was trying to drown herself, while excavating me out.

"Relax! There's nothing to be so shy about. He didn't see much... At least not much" a corner of her mouth lifted with that wicked look playing on her face.

JULIAN'S POV:

I took a seat inside my office, staring in the void while flipping the pages of the files mindlessly. Rewinds of what I saw at the pool right now couldn't vacate my head for a moment. Sight of enchantment. With every second that I spent looking at her while she played, unleashing herself out of that boundary she set for herself, I found it hard for me to convince my eyes to stop.

Her gleaming soft skin under the sun, that shivered under me that night, those dark hairs all drenched, floating in the pool while she played like a mermaid, graceful as ever, drew all of my attention and all I could think was perfection. I was quite dissatisfied the moment she realised about my presence there and began hiding herself behind Ariana.

All I could see was her shy glances from behind her which drew a smirk on my face. How bad I wanted to continue to satisfy my eyes with just the look of her, but that's not what I'm supposed to do.

Tossing the file to the other side of the table, I stood up, walking towards the window to get my mind off these things. Ever since I've caught a look of her, all I can think of is her. Sounds like some old time romance dramas.

I sighed, looking over at the estate that spread along the length and width of this valley. It took me a lot of time to build this up and safeguard what I was given, I've done it well till now and now I can't loose control over myself and then this estate. If there's a way in which I can prove my leadership, it's being different from everyone. Power, control and loyalty, that's what we need to run the Mafia and distractions are not excepted.

But then her.... I turned around, closing my eyes for a moment. She's so innocent that I can't blame her for anything that's happening, then it's just me who's to blame. If Ariana wouldn't have interrupted at right time, that night I would have done something that would have me questioning myself.

Whom am I lying to? I didn't regret any part of it and I know I wouldn't have if I did what I was about to. When it comes to her, I barely have an account of my surroundings, these values are far from memorable.

"Can I come in? " Ariana's voice chimed in, mid of my thoughts.

I nodded, allowing her to advance in as she stood in front of me.

"Thinking about her? " she asked, suppressing her laugh, drawing her lips into a thin line.

I glared at her, setting her face back as it was supposed to be and headed towards my chair when she huffed once again,

"You shouldn't give her hopes if you're going to end it like other girls you've been with. "

I stopped, turning around to face her with a frown on my face.

"I'm not giving any hopes to anyone. Someone's mmisunderstood,I guess" I clarified, making her roll her eyes at me while crossing her arms.

"Oh! Really? Then whom did I see that night, just one moment away from creating the biggest 'misunderstanding'? " she asked, unpleasant in tone but she was right.
