I look at the piece of paper and saw something written on it

3rd person POV

The next day Everyone met up at the twin's house

"Stop looking? what is that supposed to mean?" Nico asked as he paced around the living room

"I'm pretty sure it means whoever sends us this wants us to stop looking," Evelyn said sarcastically leaning against the couch with her arms crossed

"I know that, I mean who could have sent it?" Nico asked as he kept pacing around the room

"Who else could it be, it was obviously from Athalor" Douxie speaks up from across the room, Finn kept quiet from the other side of the room

"Maybe it wasn't, maybe the person who send you this is trying to warn you about him, Evelyn are you sure you didn't see anything weird when you got the note?" Archie asks Evelyn, she just shrugs and shakes her head

"I already told you, I stopped at a red light, I heard a whoosh sound and the container fell on the hood of my car," Evelyn says

"Are you sure?" Nico asks looking at his sister

"asking the same question multiple times will not make the answer any different," she says unamused

"The stone, May I see it?" Archie speaks up, Evelyn takes the stone and gives it to Him, he fixes his glasses as he examines the stone "how interesting, it seems like this is a yellow topaz" Archie says

"And what does that mean" Finn finally speaks up

"That now we know that whoever send this likes topazes," Archie says sarcastically as he hands the stone back to Evelyn

"Great" Evelyn mumbled annoyed, everyone stayed quiet until douxie finally speaks up

"Maybe we can use the stone as a tracking beacon" douxie suggest, he pick up the backpack that he put down next to the door when he walked in and he pulled out a book and starts going through it

"What's that" Nico asked

"A spellbook" Douxie said without looking up from the book, Evelyn stands next to him to look at the pages from the book
"Looks like Latin" she says

"That's because it is" he says and turns to look at Evelyn and quickly looks back to his book, he kept flipping through pages until he found the right spell

"This shall do the trick" he said as he put down the book and he uses his magic bracelet to do the spell, he says the incantation and the stone starts glowing blue, after he says the spell the stone starts shaking then it starts floating, then...
It falls back down

"That was a bit anticlimactic" Nico says as he picks up the stone and looks at his sister "hey do you think we could sell-" Nico begins but was quickly interrupted when the rock shoots out of his hand and crashes against the door like it's trying to get out, they look at the stone in the wall, and then at each other, and began following it

They have been following the stone for about 5 minutes, thankfully it was already dark out so the chances of getting seen were slim

"I don't think the masks are necessary," Douxie says as he looks at the twins as they put on their masks

"It's for security reasons" Nico began

"This helps us remain our identities secret" Evelyn finishes, she puts on her masks

"Sounds stupid," Finn said annoyed

"Well it worked for you guys," Evelyn said, Finn, didn't say anything in return

"Didn't I burn yours?" Douxie says as he looks at Evelyn

"You did, this is a new one," she says without looking at him

After a few minutes, they finally reach what seems like to be an old factory, but when they got close enough they heard voices inside they got to the nearest window and looked inside and saw the one and only
Athalor

Evelyn and Nico took theirs masks off so they could get a better look, Douxie looked to his left and saw Evelyn in pure shock and so was Nico, he looked back at the scene in front of him, Athalor was looking at a mirror, but nobody could make out what he was saying

"Who do you think he's talking to?" Nico whispered to his sister, but she didn't answer, her eyes were stuck looking at Athalor and the mirror

"Ev?" Nico said a little bit more concerned, everyone else looked at her confused, she snapped out of whatever trance she was in and looked at her brother "what?"

"I said what do you think they're saying" Nico repeated

"Um guys, he's gone" Finn said worried, they all looked back to see that Athalor was no longer in sight, they looked around to see if they could see him

"Well hello there" a voice said, they turn around to see the source of the voice, everyone's eyes widened at the sight of Athalor in front of them, he gives them a evil grin

"Right on time"
