Jisoo makes a mental note to have her heart checked due to the pain and way later when she's on her bed and the mental picture of Chaeyoung kissing someone stuck on her head, one thought slides into her brain

She makes another note to get her head check.

It takes a month and a half before Chaeyoung talked to Jisoo again even if it was just to say excuse me along the hallways
Seulgi who was with Jisoo stopped dead in her tracks, "Did Chaeyoung just say excuse me to you?"
Jisoo still staring on Chaeyoung's retreating figure just nodded
"Did something happen? She usually just shoves you out of the way"
Jisoo still in haze nods again and Seulgi asks if she's high

When you have a crush, you either acknowledge it or you don't- Jisoo is fine with a crush, she's not okay with who she developed a crush on
Why, oh why does it have to be Park freaking Chaeyoung- there's nothing physically wrong with her but she's just two bars behind being as insufferable as Irene before Seulgi managed to calm her down
She wonders if she hit her head hard during practice and caused her brain to malfunction
Jisoo ignored the nagging feeling on the pit of her stomach everytime Chaeyoung crosses her mind, needless to say she was distracted in every possible way- she finally had the guts to talk to the girl when she catches her alone in the library
"Hey" she calls out and deja vu hit her hard
Chaeyoung flinches but turned to meet Jisoo anyways, her eyes cautious yet defiant
Glad to know the fire in your eyes is still there
"What do you want?" Chaeyoung asks sharply
Okay, ouch. "I just..." Jisoo starts but the words won't come out of her mouth
Chaeyoung waited impatiently so she willed herself to speak
"-I just wanted to apologize"
The girl in front of her just nods and made her way to leave but she continues
"You didn't deserve that" she starts again and Chaeyoung stopped but didn't face her
"I was frustrated and tired and it was no excuse to take it out on you- but I did and I'm really sorry even if sorry doesn't cut it"
Jisoo feels the confidence coming back at her, "I regret- everything that I said and I know that we always hold some hatred towards each other that we always been comfortable on saying mean things to each other I still crossed the line"
When the silence took longer than a minute Chaeyoung starts walking again
"And thank you! I never got the chance to thank you because I was a busy being an ass, you saved me from failing psych ed and getting kicked out of the team" Jisoo say loud enough for Chaeyoung to hear
She wouldn't admit it but her heart broke a little when the girl kept walking and didn't even spared her a glance or just a glare
Like she didn't care.
Jisoo doesn't even know why she's so upset, it's not like she didn't brought this upon herself but one thing is sure, Chaeyoung sure knows how to hold a grudge.
