himself seeking revenge in order to humble her.
"The photo is there as a reminder of how you got here?" Corbyn asked her, following her to the elevator, "does Isaac not see the frame?"
With no reply from the girl stood waiting for the elevator doors to open, Corbyn continued to walk over to the girl despite still needing to grab his belongings from his room, "Why are you even still talking to him? He's an asshole."
"Corbyn." Kate glared at him, walking into the elevator and pressing the button to the first floor before Corbyn walked in soon after her, "is this necessary?"
"Yeah," he nodded, folding his arms and leaning against the side, "we hooked up and now you're being a bitch."
"A bitch," she raised her eyebrows.
"Hook up meant nothing?" Corbyn asked her.
"I didn't come to yours for a hook up," Kate looked at him as the doors closed, "I came to hang out with you."
"Then why'd you-"
"We were drunk and it seemed fun."
"So it meant nothing?"
"Well I don't go round sleeping with guys that mean fuck all to me." She argued, "but we didn't work out, let's leave it at that."
"We did." He said, "I said something wrong and it made you think we wouldn't work out, we were doing fine."
"I ruined it, there." Kate held her hands up, "that's all you needed to say, I ruined our relationship."
"You pushed me away." Corbyn frowned, "you didn't ruin it you got scared and you pushed me away. I'd love to give it another try, I don't think you ruined it completely."
"I'm not... i'm not allowed to." Kate told him as he paused, "Randy said."
"Randy said what? Isn't he your assistant manager?"
"Him and Fred agreed I can't date anyone from the music industry," Kate explained, walking out of the elevator as Corbyn did the same, "that includes you."
"So you would try again?" He asked her with a small ounce of hope and a tight-lipped smile.
"..yeah." She slowly nodded while backing away towards the door to entrance of the building, giving him a faint smile before she turned herself around and walked out.
