Y/N's POV

I woke up, Lizzie is snuggled on me, I sneak away without waking Lizzie. I put a pillow to replace me, she didn't notice that I am not longer there. I made my way to the shower, I tried my best not to make so much noise, I don't want to wake up Lizzie and if I'm honest right now I don't want to talk with her. I don't have to go court today which is amazing, I can prepare other cases but maybe tomorrow I will have to go court

After showering I went downstairs, and I made me a coffee. I thought I was being careful but it seems I made a lot of noises because Lizzie is awake. Fuck I need to go now, I was about to open the door but it was too late Lizzie already saw me "Are you leaving now?" She asked me, I stopped and turned to face her "Yeah I need to be earlier because I will go visit Luca later" I told her and she hummed "Did you eat something?" She asked as she walks towards me "Uhm no I don't have time, but I have coffee" I told her, as I gave her a cheek kiss "Bye" I told her and got out of the house. When I got on the motorcycle I see Lizzie standing there, I put my gaze on the road and drove away

I drove to the Law Firm and when I arrive I saw J on the parking lot, what is he doing?. I park my motorcycle and walked toward J, he is not looking at me because his back is facing me "What are you doing?" I whispered to him making him scream "Jeez you scared me" he said and I can't stop laughing "Why are you here? Who are you spying on?" I asked him he is trying to hide something. I move a little and I see Max "Oh poor you, spying on your ex girlfriend" I teased him and he shove me away "Leave me alone" he said "You can come with me if you still want to see her" I told him

I walked away and J caught me on the elevator "I see that you still want to spy on her" I told him and he chuckle "Actually I saw something off with you, Are you ok?" He asked me and I looked at him confused "What do you mean? I'm fine" I told him the doors opened and we walked in "I know you, something is wrong" he said but I ignored him "Hi Clary good morning" I greeted her "Hi, Y/N" she said smiling at me. I walked to my office and J is still following me "You won't tell your best friend?" He said making me rolled my eyes at him "Nothing is wrong I'm just a little tired and I have a lot of work to do" I told him trying to sound convincing

I know J knows me well so he won't leave me alone until I tell him, unless I lie to him which I hate but I really don't want to tell anybody that my dream won't be possible if I want to stay with Lizzie "Are you sure?" He asked and I nod at him "Yeah I'm sure, now you can go and continue spying on your ex or you can leave, I really need to start working I promised Luca I was going to go and see him" I told her and he nods "I will go and see if she is alright" he said making me laugh. This idiot is still in love with Max

I worked on some cases until it was time for me to go see Luca. I forgot to call my mom so I think now is a good time for calling her and let her know that I will go

Me: Hey mom

S: Hi hija

Me: I was calling just to letting yo know that I will go and see Luca

S: Yeah I know, he's very excited about

Me: Good, uhm see you then

I hung up, and got on my motorcycle. I started driving fast, I didn't even realize that I was too fast, that I almost hit a car, thank god I didn't, that would have killed me because how fast I was going, I low the speed not wanting to have an accident. I just can't stop hearing Lizzie's voice telling me how her job is the most important thing for her, and how she said that her job is her happiness. I spend all my time with her thinking I was her happiness, thinking I was the most important thing for her, but I'm always wrong. Even with the things she said yesterday I still love her and I don't want to leave her. Maybe I will have to shut up and be with her
