Car ride

Luke's pov:

We get into the car, Julie obviously driving, me in the passenger seat and Alex and Reggie in the back seat. 

"Okayyyy, what do you guys wanna listen to?" Julie asks, starting up the car. 

"Happier Than Ever by Billie Eilish?" 

"Damn, who broke your heart Luke?" Julie asks. 

"Nobody I just love me a little bit of Billie Eilish and Happier Than Ever is by far my favourite right now." I say, proudly. 

"Well, i'm glad you said that because I love me a little bit of Billie Eilish as well." She winks and I feel my cheeks heat up. How can a girl I barely know make me blush? 

The song starts and Julie starts singing. 

Julie's pov:

"When I'm away from you"  

I haven't sung in like 2 years and I don't know what made me sing right now but man have I missed singing! 

"I'm happier than ever
Wish I could explain it better" 

I continue singing because why not? I've already started so I might as well finish. I focus on the road ahead because ain't nobody wanna die today. 

"I wish it wasn't true, mm-hmm
Give me a day or two
To think of something clever
To write myself a letter
To tell me what to do, mm-hmm"

Luke joins in, and might I say his voice is beautiful. 

"Do you read my interviews? Or do you skip my avenue?
When you said you were passing through, was I even on your way?
I knew when I asked you to be cool about what I was telling you"

Our voices together sound amazing.

Alex and Reggie now join in and fucking hell this, this is something I never knew I needed and all our voices combined is something you need to hear.

We sing like it's the last time we'll ever get to.

I stop singing to hear the boys voices together.

They're amazing, this moment right here is amazing. Luke stops singing as well so we hear Reggie and Alex alone.
