Idea: reader has been pushing themselves like a dumbass and is a Potter twin. The twins decide something must be done.

George:

She was acting weird lately.

Usually she was very lively, she would be so energetic.

This week it's like a switch was flipped.

She was tired, that much was clear.

It looked like she hadn't gotten any sleep for at least a week.

I knew it had to have something to do with the tournament.

It's her brother for Merlin's sake, of course she's worried about him.

I was sat with Fred in the common room.

"Something on your mind there Georgie?"

I looked over to him.

"She's been acting off lately"

He knew who I meant, she had been our best friend for years and anyone could see the stress she was under. Anyone accept her own damn brother it seems.

I pushed the thought away and focused on Fred.

He nodded slightly "I know, its getting bad."

I took a breath and stood, gesturing for him to do the same.

"I told we'd meet her outside her last class."

We had skipped potions today, figured we would start the weekend early.

I stepped out of the portait and Fred followed.

I saw her before she saw me, for once she didn't have that fake grin on her face.

She stood outside of he DADA classroom, Harry had just passed her with a wave before heading torwards the dining hall, Ron and Herminoe following after him.

Her face was pale, her eyes sunken and purple bruises lay beneath them.

I let out a harsh sigh as we got closer, she was leaning against the wall, I could see how exhausted she was.

Suddenly her eyes found mine and she gave me a small smile, one which I did not return.

Fred and I stopped in front of her and she looked at the two of us, a confused expression lit her face.

"Whats wrong you two?"

She leaned off the wall, swaying slightly.

I took a step closer and put my arm around her waist.

"Nothing, love, everythings fine. Why dont we head to the common room?"

The confused look didn't leave her face but she nodded anyway.

Walking with us down the hall we made it to the common room.

I didn't hesitate before I brought her to the couch and sat her down gently.

Fred took up a place on her left while I sat on her right.

"This seems like an interrogation" she mumbled, annoyed.

I chuckled but no humor laced my voice "not really, just wondering when you last got at least six hours of sleep?"

She tensed slightly but then relaxed "I get that most nights, George".

A lie.

But I wouldn't let it go this time and by the looks of it, neither would Fred.

"Oh really?" Fred drawled.
