"Neurosurgery," the doctor answered, staring back at him.
"Wow! You're a neurosurgeon?" Boy exclaimed.
Dr. Nightwish nodded without looking at him.
"Why neuro?" Zy asked.
"Because neurosurgeon rules,"
They understand the meaning of it. The brain controls the body and neurosurgeons fixes it.
"Are my brothers' brains can still be fixed?" Jer asked.
The doctor finally shows a different emotion as her lips twitch in a small smile. And they saw it.
"Well, we could check if we can salvage anything that's left and still can be used," the doctor answered making Jer chuckle.
Kith smirks at his brothers who are gaping at the doctor.
"H-how can-
"What's your name?" Kith butted in cutting Boy's words.
Before the doctor can answer...
"Where is that fucking brother of mine?!" CC barged in.
Dr. Nightwish smiled. "I'll take my leave first," she said excusing herself.
CC nodded at her. As she closes the door behind her, she heard someone scream in pain making her chuckle.
Back inside the room...
"Why me?" Boy whined.
"He's injured. Besides, you are on the lookout," CC said. She twisted Boy's ear.
"What about Jer? He was there too," Boy pouted.
"Jer is a baby boy. I can't hurt a baby," CC said with a duh expression as he checks the dressed wound.
"Sis, can you stop calling me that?" Jer whined.
"You are a baby," Zy said ruffling the latter's hair. Jer swatted his hand.
"I can kill even the man twice my size," he retorted.
"A killer baby then," Kith said.
Jer groaned. They love teasing each other.
"By the way, who is that doctor? She said she's the head of Neurosurgery?" Zy asked.
"She talked?" CC asked amused.
"Isn't she supposed to?" Jer asked.
"Well, she only talks when she's giving instructions to her underlings. She doesn't like talking unless you are close," CC told them.
"Hm, she only answered what we asked except one question that our dear brother wanted to know," Boy said in a teasing manner.
"And that is?" CC queried.
"Her name. We only got her surname," Zy answered.
"She didn't answer-
"You barged in," Kith said.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know," CC said dramatically.
"Shut up, C," Kith said.
"You want me to shut up? How will I tell her name then?" CC raised her left eyebrow, challenging her brother.
Kith sighed, "Smartmouth,"
CC laughed at him. "Her name is Kali. Kalina Nightwish,"
Kith mumbled the name. He was lost in his thoughts when he realized something.
"Wait, if she's Kalina Nightwish, it means..."
"She's the heiress and the president/CEO of Nightwish Empire," Zy said as they realized who she was.
"But why she's working here? They even have their own hospitals," Boy asked.
"Obviously, she doesn't like to work there," Jer said.
"Yeah, but why?" Boy asked again.
"I asked her that before when she applied. She's still the president of their companies but she has CEOs on each business," CC stated.
"Her father agreed with that setup?" Kith asked.
"If they want their daughter to manage their companies, he has no choice but to follow Kali's demands. She will take over the empire, but they will not stop her from being a doctor," she told them. The boys are absorbing everything.
"So it means, she's the faceless heir that is always missing on every business event," Kith stated.
CC nodded... "Anyways, what happened? Did you get anything?" CC asked.
"Neutral grounds," Kith simpered.
"Then, I guess we need to confirm "which" neutral that bastard ran to," Zy said.
"And I know exactly who we can ask," Kith said grinning while looking at CC.
"Fine, I'll talk to Zed," she said fishing out her phone and dialing Zed's number.
They stayed quiet and wait for the call to end.
"So?" Kith asked the moment CC cut the call.
"He said he's still posted in that area. But about gathering the information about it, he'll see what he can do. He'll get back to us soon," CC relayed.
Zed is a chief of police. He is assigned to that area. They met when CC lost her memories because of a gang war. He knew about Black Orion.
"Then let's wait and see how big his connection is," Kith smirked.
