Mew didn't see Gulf anymore after Kaownah's party.

He was so busy the entire week that he barely had time to breathe, with three huge weddings.

One of the bride had especially eaten his head off, constantly criticizing the colour scheme and flowers and decorations.

Mew was absolutely pissed!

And the same old "I-got-pregnant-and-I-can't-fit-in-my-dress-anymore" tale because it really wasn't his problem that the groom and the bride couldn't keep it in their pants and they got knocked up.

Thankfully, Raven was there to sweep in and save the day, taking some of the stress off of his shoulders.

The weddings turned out to be a success, obviously, but Mew was so run down by everythingthat he had fallen asleep on his couch at eight in the evening, sleeping through his alarms and waking up after more than eighteen hours of sleep.

On top of that he got sick with the flu, so he had to let Mayra handle everything at the office which resulted in loosing some potential clients. Mayra was good, but she wasn't him. She couldn't charm the pants off of them.

Despite his protests that he could work while being sick, Mayra and Raven were having none of it.

"You won't be any help here. So what if we loose some clients? Their loss, our gain. Get some rest. You just had one of the hardest weeks of your life, you need to recharge."
Both of them had said.

After waiting for four days, Mew was feeling better, well-rested and ready to tackle new clients andcontinue with organizing the weddings for his current clients.

At 8.00 in the morning he called Mayra.

"Good morning, boss. Happy to hear you're not dead yet." she joked from the other end of the phone.

"Glad to see that I've been missed."

"Like the peacock misses the rain." she chuckled and Mew rolled his eyes.

"Do I have any meetings today?"

"Mr. Kanawut had called for a meeting a week ago, before you got sick. I called them to reschedule.
Should I cancel the meeting since you can't come to office?"

"No....just ask him if he can come to my house instead."

"Your House?" Mayra asked, not quite believing her ears.

"Yes. I can't delay their meeting anymore and you people won't let me come to the office so  it's better if he comes to my house."

"Okay Boss!"

"Stop calling me that, you know I hate it!" Mew yelled before Mayra cut the call, giggling as she did so.

Mew looked at his reflection in the mirror.

He was going to see Gulf, again. He was going to see Gulf again and he looked like shit!

Sure, he was feeling better, but the flu affected him greatly. He was paler than usual, skinnier somehow andthe dark circles looked like badly-done tattoos under his eyes. His lips were dry and chapped and his hair was a disgusting mess with him having no energy to fix it after he took a shower in that morning.

But why did he need to look good for Gulf Kanawut ? The man was going to get married! It didn't matter if Mew looked good or not, Gulf was still his client, and in a very committed relationship nevertheless.

Mew knew the answer to that without even bothering to search for it for too long.

Time passed faster than usual, and before he knew his door bell rang interrupting Mew's research on the latest trends in wedding matters.
He immediately shut up his laptop and went to open the door.

When Mew looked at him pushing up his reading-glasses he lets out an unwilling sigh.

Gulf Kanawut looked like he stepped off of a  magazine, despite the fact that he was wearing simple clothes: a pair of black tight jeans and a baby pink wool sweater.

He smiled at Mew, closing the door behind him.
"Hi." he said.

Mew wanted to sigh again. How could someone look so effortlessly attractive? Why didn't he?!

"Hello, Gulf."

"I didn't know you wear glasses."Gulf stated.

"I don't, most of the times

"I don't, most of the times. I need them for reading sometimes. Raven says they make me look like a professor."

"I think they are cute. They suit you." Gulf offered, taking a step closer.

"I - thank you, Gulf"
Mew muttered shyly, fixing his hair with his fingers.

Gulf's chocolate eyes followed the movement and Mew realized how awfully close they were.

They were moving towards each other, like there was a pull, an invisible chord trying to mush them together. Gulf licked his lips and raised his hand. Long, elegant fingers brushed Mew cheekbone and his eyes shut as an automatic response to the other man's touch. It was just a flutter, before Gulf's hand cupped his face, stroking gently the skin from his eyebrow to the line of his jaw.

"Mayra told me that you were sick...." Gulf whispered between themselves. "Are you feeling better now?"

The Wedding planner sighed, turning his face in Gulf's hand and boldly pressing a kiss to the center of his palm. He gasped when the world's most precious man gazed into his eyes, long eyelashes brushing the skin under his eyes.

"So much better." Mew whispered, before he closed his eyes again and enjoying the warmth of Gulf's hand cupping his face.

Stolen moments, he realized, that's what his life reduced to.
Stolen moments with a man who wasn't even his. With a man he wanted to get out of his system, but at the same time wanted to consume him whole.

His life was a bad joke. The worst Romeo and Juliet kind of scenario.

The difference between MewGulf and RomeoJuliet was they weren't exactly together, and, as much as the thought made Mew's stomach churn and his soul break into million, irreplaceable pieces, THEY WILL NEVER BE!
