It was a strange feeling to be going out with Mew outside of the wedding plans and stress, but Gulf quickly found that he was enjoying it more than anything.

The restaurant was small and cozy, nothing too lavish. The atmosphere, so laid back, the high beaming ceilings and the eclectic décor worked wonders for the ambience.

The coffee was good and the conversation was light while they waited for their food and when it finally arrived Gulf almost cried at the sight of it!

"I asked for just burgers, why did you order so much?"
Gulf questioned but his watering mouth said otherwise.

"It's not alot. Just a few chicken strips, chicken wings, burger, fries and garlic bread ain't too much for two grown ass men!"

Nevertheless Gulf took the first bite and it sure was heavenly. He unknowingly let out an obscene moan that made Mew still for a second.

"I'm sorry, but this is just really good! " he muttered embarrassed.

Mew laughed with a shake of his head "That's alright, I know how it feels"

"Pam is all about eating healthy and strict diets. I miss the good, old burger."
Gulf said with a pout and a slightly complaining tone as he devoured his double patty beef burger. The cheese coming out and remaining at the corner of his lips.

Mew snorted, taking a sip of his coke and resisting the urge to pepper the other's cute face with kisses.
"I don't even have that much time to eat, to be honest, and when I do, I make sure it's something I enjoy."

"That is an ideal way to live by."

They made small talk as they ate, and Mew couldn't remember the last time he had so much fun with another person that wasn't his sister or Raven. Let alone with a client. He usually tended to be reserved and mantain a professional relationship with his clients.
But Gulf was most certainly an exception.

He was a breath of nice, fresh air.

"How did you become a wedding planner?" Gulf asked after their plates were somehow cleared, the only thing on the table being a slice of ridiculously good garlic bread that they decided to share and two cups of coffee.

"Well I always was a pretty organized person, I loved having everything in order and planned. So, after I finished University I got invited to a distant cousin's wedding. It was a complete mess. Her dress wasn't right, the venue was crap and the food was horrible. Everything was backwards and she hated every single second of her wedding. I don't think there was a moment when she stopped crying. Everyone thought that those were happy tears.
I guess that I didn't want other people to go through her pain. I wanted to make them happy. To make their special day as they wanted it to be. There is just something I love about getting every tiny little detail right so that a couple's wedding day would go off without a problem."
