Part 13 - Mehendi Ceremony

These eyes...I can lose myself in them for eternity...

Nazar se nazar mile...Nazar se nazar mile

Ho dekhengi aankhein sapna

Jo yun koi saath chale...Jo yun koi saath chale

Woh lagne lagega apna

Dadi: Chanchal tum aahke mehendi ki rasam kar do, aah jo tum hi kardo

Chanchal: Ji (nodding her head in agreement)

Chanchal sat next to Riddhima and started making some beautiful mehendi designs on Riddhima's left hand. She also wrote V for Vansh in the design.

What has suddenly made her smile?... I want her to smile at me like that...that beautiful smile should be adorned for me... How I wish she could turn her head slightly, look into my eyes and be this joyous all the time...

Palat Riddhima palat....
Vansh waited with anticipation for her to look in his direction...

but his thoughts were interrupted suddenly by Dadi asking him something.

Meanwhile, Riddhima had a look at the clock on the wall... oh no only 15 mins left before the truck arrives... I need to find Shera!  How can I leave from here? I must do something!
Sia: Riddhima Bhabhi please dance with me na...
Riddhima: nahi Sia...
Sia: nahi Bhabi sirf meri liye

Riddhima turned her head and saw Vansh's face and quickly changed her mind
Riddhima: Ok sure...

Sia, Riddhima, Chanchal, Anupriya, and Dadi were all happily dancing. Vansh was so content seeing Riddhima dancing so freely with his family members and couldn't help himself but smile. He secretly also wished to dance with her...He moved closer to her and her fragrance lingering in the air hit his nostrils ... he was intoxicated once again by her beauty and grace.

She was dancing on the right side of him, he just continued to admire her, also trying to join in the dancing with a few claps. Her hair was flowing beautifully in the air...he loved her hair out in the open and not tied. He was thoroughly enjoying himself, even thinking about taking her in his arms and twirling her...but she had mehendi on her hand it would get smeared if he had...never mind perhaps another time... and he just enjoyed himself at that moment

Angre entered and Vansh decided to meet him in the hallway to ask about any progress with finding Shera. As soon as Vansh left the room, Riddhima took this opportunity to run outside into the garden and find the rubbish bin before the garbage truck arrived. She accidentally bumped into Aryan..."Ahhh....I see, runaway bride hmmm???"

Riddhima: No I just came outside to get some fresh air!

Aryan: Oh really? Well if you say so... (raising an eyebrow, he certainly wasn't convinced and walked back inside).

Phew his gone! Now I gotta find Shera...I have such a limited amount of time!

Without much time left...she quickly toppled the bin over and found Shera, hid it in her bandaged hand, and quickly ran back inside before Vansh could catch her or anyone else would find her missing!

Vansh Raisinghania stormed outside into the garden absolutely furious that Shera still hadn't been found. He suddenly noticed that the garbage bin had been toppled over. "D'Souza" he shouted, and immediately Mrs D'Souza came running asking what happened...he pointed at the bin and the contents all scattered over the ground. D'Souza quickly took care of it. Vansh saw a bit of mehendi smeared on one side of the bin.

Ah the culprit has smudged mehendi on their hands! He said out loud, Riddhima overhead and rushed inside dancing amongst the Raisinghania's and introducing a new dance step.

Vansh marched inside with a smirk on his face he asked to take a photo of their mehendi.
Everyone showed their hands and Vansh took a few photos, however everyone's mehendi had been smeared which was odd.
