Part 10

Vansh was absolutely furious! How was it possible that Shera was missing from the secret room? VR Mansion was under such tight security.

He stormed into the study with an absolute temper. "Angre how is this possible? Shera was securely put away in the secret room. We need to find Shera or else it could destroy Vansh."

Little did he know that someone was listening to their conversation...

Riddhima thought yes she was so close to the evidence, now she just needs to find Shera immediately! "Vansh Raisinghania you're finished!", Riddhima thought. Vansh and Angre left the study in a hurry to look for Shera elsewhere.

Riddhima rushed inside and began to search for Shera, she started emptying the rubbish bin, turning it upside down...she went through it all but nothing was in the bin.

"Oh dear, they have already emptied all the bins!"

She was out the door of the study and was about to go downstairs when someone pulled her arm and stopped her.

Vansh pulled Riddhima closer towards him and her back was against the wall he said "aww sweetheart you missed me so much that you came all the way here to find me..." Riddhima started to mumble "no I was..."
"I was what...? Hmm Ridd-hi-maa..." pronouncing every syllable of her name seductively, while tracing his index finger along her cheek. He buried his nose near her neck and started to give her soft kisses on the right side of her slender neck...and encircling his arms tighter around her waist...

"I was just about to..." Riddhima suddenly opened her eyes and realised she had been daydreaming about being caught red-handed by Vansh. She then subconsciously also touched the right side of her neck just to make sure that it had only been a dream...Phew!!!

Running down the main staircase she collided with Mrs. D'Souza. Taking a deep breath trying to calm herself she asked about the bins being emptied, Mrs. D'Souza informed her that the garbage truck will be arriving by 5 pm...that left her just an hour and a half to get to it...and finally she will be able to find Shera, her golden ticket to freedom! 🦁

She had to get ready for the next function and also create a distraction so she can find Shera. It wasn't an easy task but she was ready for the challenge!

Returning to her room she had a quick shower and got ready for the mehendi function. Hair, makeup, jewellery and wearing the metallic coloured dress...she did that all by herself. Soon she will be able to successfully complete her mission and the reason for her to be at VR Mansion will come to an end. 'Soon freedom at last!', she softly whispered to herself.

Throughout this journey I have discovered that the characters of a story tend to develop themselves and lead you to places unimagined...I am still exploring myself as a writer...
