Leo

I forgot who Jessie made me for awhile after she died. I went on a killing spree. I chose every single available mission that Evelyn could give me.

I was supposed to be leader but I chose to give it to her, she would make a better boss.

Harland and Tessa got married and moved out. They did what Jessie's parents did. They left.

So it's just me. Just me and no one else. I haven't been able to talk to Harland or Tessa because it could lead to tracking from other members that hate what they did to the vipers.

I groan I I get up from bed. I throw on my black clothes. Black trench coat and black pants. A black turtle neck and black shoes.

I walk down the large flight of stairs. I don't greet or smile at anyone, because I know Jessie wouldn't either.

I haven't gone into my room. Not once. Not to retrieve anything. I have one box of things of Jessie's that Tessa got for me.

My room is locked and barricaded. No one is aloud in there.

I walk out the main entrance and leave the building. I hold them in my hand.

I walk down the long pathways of gardens and greenery's, admiring their work. Their scent reminds me of Jessie so easily. I have forgotten what the tingles felt like.

I think that was the hardest part of losing her, was just forgetting how she made me feel.

I admire the amounts of colours and diversity that the flowers represent. I learned a lot about flowers because I knew how much Jessie loved them.

They remind me a lot of her, it's nice to have them to help me with her.

I finally reach the main part of the garden. The part where she is buried, the place were her concrete grave reads 'Jessie West. Our flower.'

I smile down at it. I place down the new bouquet of roses. I swipe away some of the dust and dirt that build up over the week.

I've visited her grave everyday, I bring new roses every week. I have hired 3 different cleaners to clean it every 3 days.

I stand back up, with my back straight and my head looking down at her tombstone. Something in me still just can't believe she is gone.

"Hey baby.." My voice ripples.

I take a deep breath with my eyes closed. My heart beats slow, more steady. I open my eyes and bring them back to her.

"It's your birthday, I wish I could have seen you turn 23, but god didn't really want that." I chuckle.

"I'll see you again one day cupcake, I promise. I really hope your looking over me. I really hope so." I sigh.

"It's been hard. Har and Tessa are gone, Evelyn doesn't care anymore and I've lost you and my Emmy." A tear falls.

"I'm going to write my part today. I promise. I'm going to write it." I get down on one knee and look at her name carved into the stone.

"Happy birthday baby." I stood from the ground and left the garden. Finally letting go, finally letting her free.

I walk away without looking back. I'm leaving and not ever coming back.

I throw my bags into the car along with the box of Jessie's stuff right next to me.

"Drive." I command the driver. He does. I take one last look at Evelyn's estate.

I look back to the box of Jessie's things. The sweats of mine she always wore, the picture I took of her the night I engaged, and her notebook. I pick it up out of the box.

I swipe my hand over the black cover. I open it to the 5th page in.

I slid down before hitting the ground. I heard the men murmuring and laughing below me.

Idiots.

I smile at the last part of Jessie's page before it shows a blank page. I write down my name like Jessie did hers.

Leo

I think back to our first mission. I remember it all. I wrote it all down in the pages she left.

I spent the next hours writing in all her pages. I'm finally writing my part.

I sigh contently when I write the last sentence of me and Jessie's story. It ends here.

I close the pages to the first pages to reveal the title of the book.
