-Third Person POV-
Today would be Lorna's first experience of the fighting of mutants against mutants. She was nervous as she didn't know the powers the other mutants could possess. She also no longer had the sceptre's power to help enhance her abilities like it did in New York.

There was an arena where the mutants fought, having thick plastic walls which were transparent for observation. The Hydra officials and guards observed the fights, taking note of everyone's strengths and weaknesses. Some guards were then ordered to beat and fight some of the mutants that were broken (mentally defeated) to build them into strong soldiers. There was also an electrocution room where some mutants would get strapped to an electric chair.

If getting electrocuted wasn't brutal enough, Hydra would sometimes use "shock therapy" on the mutants who wouldn't submit themselves to Hydra's orders.

Elliot was trying his hardest to keep Lorna in his lab to prevent her from fighting and possibly going to the electrocution room. Lorna wasn't one to usually bow down to something or someone of higher power/abilities/strength. She would fight against them, wanting to stand her ground as long as she possibly could.

Meanwhile, Reid was attending meetings that included all Hydra officials, having to discuss the procedure Elliot was supposed to safely develop. However, Hydra didn't know that Reid was secretly tapping into the conversations in the meetings, having a tiny microphone hanging on one of the belt loops near his weapons belt provided to him. Clint was supposedly getting the feedback of these conversations while Matthew was giving reports on all the mutants within the facility, describing what their abilities were along with their strengths.

Within the almost soundless chambers in Asgard's dungeons held Loki. Loki was pretending to practice simple spells when in reality, it was an illusion; he was practicing powerful spells that could potentially break down the barrier surrounding his cell.

Isla kept visiting Loki, only making small talk including things like "how was your day?" or "enjoy your food, books, etc." Loki wasn't pleased with her appearances as he still held a grudge against her. Despite this, Isla was trying her hardest to get through the wall Loki mentally built within his mind. Loki noticed this of course, contemplating whether he should or shouldn't allow Isla's attempts persuade him back to their previous relations of appearing as friends instead of strangers.

-Elliot's POV-
I was running around my lab, testing out different serums I made. Vassilieva made it clear that she wanted more results yesterday as I had no choice but to provide. I worried for Lorna as today was her first day in fighting with other mutants. Her abilities were strong, but there always has to be someone stronger or weaker than you despite wherever one goes.

Lorna was led to my lab this morning for early testing before she went off to fight. I asked if she wanted the ability enhancer I made. She denied my offer, confident she will be fine as she believed in her abilities and physical combat skills.

~

Clint called me, wanting information on my progress here in Hydra. To keep things strictly between us, I spoke in French. I took caution of not talking too fast for Clint's ability to have someone translate my words.

Once I finished my call, my lab door opened. There were several mutants needing medical attention as I mentally groaned. I had to be the one lab scientist while also being the doctor to help patch everyone up. It was mentally and physically exhausting as I haven't really slept the previous days before Lorna gained full access her abilities again. Sleep deprivation is absolute torture, especially when your body wouldn't allow you to succumb to the stage of deep sleep. The dark circles under my eyes appeared as if I had makeup on as my body physically felt weaker as each day passed by.
