"Your brown eyes shine brighter than any city ever could." - unknown

Niara's POV

"Niara dear, your father is already in the car" I heard Ms. Marie say from outside my bedroom door.

"Okay! I'm almost done" I yell back.

I hummed while analyzing myself in the mirror, My father had plans to visit Mr. Donovan today with a few other people from work. Apparently Mr. Donovan asked if I wanted to come with.

I was a bit hesitant at first but I eventually agreed, Now I was just being indecisive on what to wear.

I grumbled to myself, my father is in the car already so I can't be to long. I settled for a checkard white and blue dress.

After getting everything settled I rushed outside to get in the car. My father wasn't impatient but I definitely didn't want to make him late.

"Goodmorning father" I say while buckling my seatbelt.

"Morning" He says while looking at his phone.

The driver started the car as my father looked up at me as if something  had just popped into his head "I forgot to mention Niara, I won't be here for a week" he says making my eyebrows furrow together.

"A business trip" He says and I hum in understanding.

"Where will we be going this time?" I smiled.

"Actually I decided that you won't be coming this time".

"Why not?" I questioned.

"Because it would be better if you stayed home and focused on school."

"But- I've never been away from you" I pouted.

"Don't worry dear, Ms. Marie is here and Mr. Donovan will still be coming over daily. Also I asked him if he had time he could check on you on the weekends."

My stomach flipped at the thought of being alone with Mr. Donovan.

I would be a fool to have not noticed Mr. Donovans looks, he's probably the most attractive man I've ever seen. He's also very smart, during out study time he explained stuff really well, it only took about five times for me to actually understand. That may seem like a lot if times but normally it would take me a day or two to actually get the stuff I learn.
