"Mommm, your belly is getting super big!!"
Mikoto started smiling at the dear child.
"What's in your belly?"
"I will show you the surprise in a few weeks." Mikoto replied.
"Surprise?!"
Mikoto giggled at how cute Hikaru is.
"Yes, surprise." Mikoto replied
'Wait a minute...' I thought.
'If mom didn't want to tell me why her belly is so big, then it must mean one thing!'
"Mom you can't be getting bloating are you, this has been going on for a couple of months!!"
"No, no! I'm not no- You'll see in a couple of weeks Hikaru " Mikoto laughed
"Are you sure mom? Are you sure your not getting bloating from gastroi-"
"Yes!" Mikoto laughed as she starts patting her son's hair
'I'm seriously doubting Mother. She isn't lying to me right?'
Mikoto laughed again at her son's troubled face. Mikoto went to sit on the couch on the living room.
"Come here Hikaru-kun. I will give you a small hint." Mikoto said as she waved Hikaru over to the couch
'Hint?'
I slowly dragged my feet towards the couch for the hint
"Come closer Hikaru" Mikoto waved and gestered her son to come closer
I scooted closer to mom until I'm next to her stomach
"Where's my hint mom? Are you about to explain to me how your bloat-"
"Listen." Mikoto said quickly as she swiftly pulled Hikaru to her stomach.
I listened confused as our breaths started to slow down and the room around me grew silent. I could hear small thumping noises.
I snap my head away from mom's belly and quickly went to the other side of the couch then came back quickly.
"MOTHER! Why do you have a bomb in your belly?!"
"No!! It's not a bomb. Wrong guess." Mikoto replied as she laughed at her son swarmed her belly
"Huh? Than what is it mom?"
"You'll see in a couple of weeks." Mikoto swiftly winked at her son and got up, walking out the room.
"MOMMM!" I whined

A couple of weeks later
Hikaru
I silently wait in the waiting room as my mom was pulled onto a wheelchair to the emergency room. Suddenly she is brought out on a hospital bed to another room, nurses helping to calm my mom down as she 's being transported. I quickly scurry behind the big group. I almost tripped, when dad scooped me up by the waist.
