I wanted to put out a christmas chapter, but I'm saving that for later on, so for now here's this!

Cuddles - Christmas morning cuddles feel that little bit more special. You and Nat would be tangled up with each other under the covers, the cold morning air contrasting to the warmth you felt under the duvet. You would both chat about the day ahead, as soft christmas music gently plays through the speakers in your room.

Hands - When everyone was downstairs opening presents, you and Nat were there too on your own couch, fingers interlocked. Nat was very new to the idea of Christmas, so she took reassurance in constantly touching you, just to ground herself. The only time you'd let go is to open a present.

Reindeer - Nat laughed the first time you tried to explain Santa's reindeer to her. She did not understand why someone had made up stories about super-powered reindeer with red noses. You went on a trip to Santa's Grotto and she was mesmerised by the live reindeer they had there. And her little smile when the helper offered her a carrot to feed one.

Ice - Nat didn't mind the cold one bit, being Russian and all. But she found it adorable how you would wrap up when there was the slightest bit of ice around. You had a collection of thick coats that you would shuffle through, as well as a drawer full of bobble hats and little mittens. You both loved going on winter walks, but it was funny seeing Nat in a leather jacket and you wrapped in lots of layers.

Stocking - You introduced Nat to the idea of children hanging stockings at the end of their bed that Santa would fill with presents for Christmas. She brushed it off at first, but you saw her looking at the different types and colours that they had at Target. She bought a red and white stocking with a gold 'N' on it. She hung it on the end of your shared bed, and you filled it will small presents, without her knowledge. She was squealing with excitement when she woke up on Christmas morning and saw the stocking bulging with presents.

Tree - You, Wanda and Nat spent hours perfectly putting up the tree in the living room at the compound. Wanda used her magic to lift the baubles up to the parts that no one could reach, seeing as Nat is only 5"3 and you're a couple of inches shorter. You used a red and gold colour theme, and each decoration was placed with care. Once it was done, you turned the lights on and took a step back. The glitter glistened under the warm lights and it created a magical atmosphere in the room. Slow Christmas songs played in the background and Nat wrapped her hands around you waist and you threaded your hands around her neck, drawing your bodies close together. You swayed slowly, blocking out everything else in the room. Wanda had left, laughing about how single she felt. But slow dancing to "White Christmas" by Bing Crosby was the best reward for Christmas tree decorating.

Mistletoe - A passionate Christmas kiss was shared between you and Nat underneath the mistletoe that Tony had planted in the living room. It was above one of the smaller couches, so Nat would always make you two sit there during Christmas movie nights, just so she could kiss you none stop, saying "you have to kiss under mistletoe!" Not that you complained, because little kisses on the top of the head and on your jaw from Nat were your favourite.

Angel - Nat changed her pet name for you to something more festive. Her angel. Every time she called you Angel you felt butterflies in your stomach and you would blush a little bit. She knew how it made you feel, so she kept doing it.

Snowball fight - The team had a huge snowball after lunch as New York was coated in a thick blanket of snow. But you and Nat were on separate teams, as you wanted to be with Wanda, who's magic was able to make snowballs really quickly. But that made you an easy target for a certain Russian assassin. She has impeccable aim, obviously, so every ball landed accurately on her target. Which was you. Very quickly, you were very cold and very wet. The game eventually came to an end, with your team winning, but Nat sneaked up behind you and dumped a handful of snow down the back of your shirt. You were not happy. Safe to say Nat was in the dog house that night. But she rectified it by giving you lots of cuddles and kisses.
