Kind of a request, but I changed it a bit by accident. I will do a jealous one at some point.

"Nat have you seen my keys?!" Y/N was running around like a headless chicken, checking under the fruit in the kitchen and down the back of the couch.

"Turn around you little nugget". Nat stood there dangling the keys in front of her face, causing Y/N to lunge at her, but Nat just jumped away, keeping the keys tantalising out of reach. "Nah-uh, I'm driving. You barely stay on the road. And I wouldn't particularly like to die today" Nat teased, pocketing the keys, leaving Y/N to huff before she turned around to grab her phone. They walked to the garage and climbed into Y/N's car, a Mercedes G-Wagon in matt black. She knew it was basic, but there's nothing like a tall car to make 2 short women feel powerful.

Nat pulled out of the garage as the speakers blasted "I Kissed a Girl - Rock Remix", causing Nat to ever so casually place kisses on Y/N's hand that she had pulled into her lap. They never drove without touching each other. All completely innocently, they would either be holding hands, or a hand would be gripping the other's thigh, or on the rare occasion Y/N would be sat in Nat's lap.

The drive to the park was quite short, so they got there in plenty of time. Pulling up on the street, the 2 women climbed out, Nat grabbing the bag of food and Y/N bringing a speaker and some blankets. The weather was perfect for an afternoon picnic, so that's exactly what the 2 planned to do.

They strolled around, trying to find the perfect spot. They soon came to a stop beside the lake and decided it was perfect. The sun shone on the water, creating a pattern of blues and greens that danced on top of the glass-like lake, revealing the countless colourful fish that swam below. Y/N was fully entranced by a red and gold fish that was swimming near the surface. She stood still, completely transfixed before Nat grabbed her hand, pulling her away like a child. Y/N tried to whine in protest but Nat soon cut her off.

"They're not going anywhere babe. You can see them later."

Y/N used her best puppy dog eyes. "Promise?"

"Yes I promise. Now come eat, because this food isn't going to eat itself." She said, sitting down on the blanket and pulling out a box of strawberries. They both tucked in, munching on cookies, fruits and a summery pasta salad that Wanda had made. The conversation flowed gently, ranging from the recent mission, to what colour Bucky should dye his hair.

"He should go purple. That would look cool!" Nat exclaimed.

"I was thinking more of a blue-ish, yano? To
match his eyes?"

"Why you looking in his eyes Y/N?" Nat teased.

"Oh i don't. But have you never heard Sam talking about them? He kept going around saying "those steel blue eyes let you know where home is." He's got a hardcore crush I'd say."
