Chapter 4 - The Hospital

Pauls P.O.V

"PAUL THIS IS AMY COME QUICK IT'S MELODY SHE IS IN HOSPITAL!"

I dropped my phone causing the screen to crack the one thing her parents asked me to do was keep her safe and what happens? SHE ENDS UP IN THE BLOODY HOSPITAL!

"Boys I have to leave sorry" I say to the boys

"why? Is everything alright?" Liam asks

"No actually its not Melody is in hospital!" I sort of yell at him

"What? why? what happend? you said she was in her room!" Niall fires questions at me "i dont know now are you leaving or coming with me?"

"we are coming"Niall speaks for the boys

"well come on then"I grab my keys and run out the door.

We are all sitting in the waiting room. "so tell me what happened again" I ask Amy trying to let it sink in. "we were on our way back from a pool party and I asked her if we could go shopping and then as she crossed the road a black convertible came speeding round the corner she didn't see it at first neither did I it came so fast and hit her right in the side I luckly mamaged to get to her in time to catch her head. I then rang the hospital and then you" she said I let it all sink in "why was she even at a pool party in the first place?" I asked

"because I invited her"she replied

"did she not mention she was grounded?" I asked a bit angry that she snuck out

"yeah she did. oh my god this is my fult if I didnt ask her to be a rebel and sneek out she would not be here" she said with guilt in her voice "hey hey hey it's not your fult its the drivers fult for speeding" as I said that we were called to vist Melody we all stod up but me and niall were the first ones in there. Niall has been acting strange ever since he met melody but I shook it off when I saw my beautiful sleeping niece. I ran to the side of her and squeezed her hand slightly I felt her sqeeze back and slowly flicker her eyes open. "what? were am I? what happened? were is amy? I was with her 2 minutes ago" she said with worry in her voice

"its alright darling I will go and get the doctor" I said quickly

Melody's P.O.V

I had just woken up but not in my bed I felt someone squeeze my hand I was so confused last thing I remembered I was out with Amy. I turned my head to find paul sitting next to me I smiled slightly then started asking questions but he rushed out to find a doctor then I realised what happened I got hit in my side hard by a car I riggled a bit soon regreting it because of the stiches on my side. I looked around and saw a familier blonde staring at me with his beautiful blue eyes what shut up melody you hate him he then came closer to me. "hey you aparently took quite a hit" he said why did he care but I couldnt say something mean back to him he is caring for me after what I said to him the other day "yeah Im surprised Im not in a coma actually" I replied back "

he looked at me confused "what?" I asked him

Niall's P.O.V

"what" she asked me. Was Melody the Melody Higgins talking to me without critizing me, the boys or our songs might as well use this moment while I can. "oh nothing I was worried about you" I said

"me you were worried about me?"she asked confused

"well I mean all the boys were and paul obviously"i said a bit paniky I cant believe I said I was worried about her. I usally dont believe in love in first sight but with her I think if she gets to know the real me Niall from a small place in Irland not Niall from one direction I could have a chance with her.
