When they arrived, it was just a rooftop. At first they didn't go onto it, in fear of an ambush. The heroes in training spoke quietly through their earpieces.

"Toshi, I'll circle round to the other side of the building and we go from both sides, okay? We don't know what quirk the guy has so we have to be careful"

"Got it. If he ambushes you what do I do?"

"Since Eraser made us wear these trackers I'm guessing he's following us. Probably from the floor in alleyways. He will probably jump in and save me!"

"Yeah, cause why wouldn't he follow us.."

Izuku grinned and patted Hitoshi's shoulder, before circling around the building they were supposed to meet on, and landing on a rooftop on the other side. He spoke to Hitoshi again.

"Alright, I'm here. We can both go at the same time, but if you run in looking for a fight they will know somethings up, so act natural"

"Sometimes I wonder how you know this"

"Experience"

The two slowly made their way onto the rooftop, on edge and wary of any sounds.

By the time they met in the middle and nothing had happened yet, they were confused.

Until they turned around and a figure was on the edge of the roof. From the side Hitoshi came from. They were perched on the edge, looking down onto the street. Black cloaca blowing in the wind.

They both subtly gripped a knife in their pockets, slightly more prepared.

Izuku inched forward.

"You're Yasu?"

The person nodded.

"I'm surprised you could find me"

Hitoshi summoned what little confidence he had.

"We have our ways."

Yasu turned to face them.

They had golden yellow eyes, but that was all of their face that could be seen. The rest hidden by a plain black mask.

"You want an internship?"

Izuku and Hitoshi nodded.

"Then catch me by 10am."

Yasu jumped backwards off the roof, and by the time Izuku and Hitoshi got to the edge, they were gone.

The teenagers looked at eachother, just not realising the urgency.

"Izu, go find a computer and hack into the cameras. You can do that right?"

Izuku nodded, a small smile of pride on his face that was hidden under the mask.

"Got it!"

"I'll work on memorising the alleys around the city, because that's probably where they're hiding"

"Toshi, I know it's not the time but you're being really hot right now"

"Oh- shut up and start hacking"

Within an hour, they were into the camera system. It had taken Izuku longer than he wanted it to, but turns out finding a computer and somewhere with good wifi was hard.

For the next hour, the two watched the cameras.

Until Hitoshi saw a cape running past one.

Six hours remaining.

Izuku left the computer on a random rooftop and the two bolted to where they saw the hero. It was only a 2 minute sprint, but by the time they were there, the hero was long gone. The only sign they were there in the first place being a note.

'Stop thinking so logically.'

Hitoshi frowned.

Aizawa had always taught him that logical thinking was the way to solve a problem.

Izuku just laughed.

"They're fucking taunting us. I bet they're watching us right now too."

"What do they mean by don't think logically?"

"It means we have to act on instinct."

The next 3 hours were spent checking alleys and asking low level thugs if they saw anyone running through there.

But they left no trace.

Three hours left.

Hitoshi was starting to lose hope. And stamina.

They had been running around for five hours with no breaks, trying to catch someone who might as well be a ghost.

They were running to check out another probably dead end lead, when Izuku turned and started running the opposite direction, eyes locked onto something.

Hitoshi followed.

"Izuku? Izu, you found them?"

He pointed ahead of them, to someone running away quickly in a dark cloak, blending in with the dark hours of the morning.

"Toshi, I'm going to keep following them this way. I need you to go that way. It's a shortcut, we can cut them off"

Izuku nodded slightly to the left and Hitoshi immediately ran that way at his full speed. After 15 minutes he figured he was there and turned on his earpiece.

"Izuku, where are-"

"To your left"

Hitoshi didn't even need to think before he reacted. He flung his capture weapons out, trying to trap whoever it was.

The person chuckled and put both hands up.

"I surrender. You win."

Izuku looked surprised, to say the least.

"That easily?"

"You have me trapped in an alley with only one way out"

Hitoshi fell to his knees, panting.

"Oh god, I need sleep"

Izuku laughed and went to help him up, before looking at Yasu. Or where Yasu was literally just a second ago. Instead there was a note.

"You start in 3 days. I'll contact your principal and let them know. Meet at *************** at 2:00am"
