~Chapter 2~

*Cameron’s POV*

As soon I walked into my new high school I could already tell it was as cliché and stereotypical as my last one. I could already see all the individual groups forming in the hallway. The populars, the jocks, the emos, the nerds, the loners, etc. etc. They were all there staying separate from each other. I rolled my eyes and made my way to the office to get my schedule and officially register since I just transferred here. I heard the bell ring and I groaned. Great, my first day and I was already late. Plus I can’t find the damn office! Gosh they should really make signs for these kinds of things. I wandering around, giving up all hope of finding the office when I crashed into someone that was so obviously a slut. Her school skirt was pulled up way too far and her blouse was pulled down and buttons that I’m pretty sure were supposed to be buttoned weren’t.

“Oh I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you there.” I said.

She stood up and looked at me like she was going to say something nasty but when she fully saw me she just batted her eyelashes and “accidentally” pulled her shirt down farther. I struggled to refuse to roll my eyes.

“I’m Ashley.” She said, still batting her eyelashes. Of course her name was Ashley. It always was. (A/N no offence to people named Ashley. I have a friend Ashley and she is wicked nice, but this kind of a stereotypical story and the girls that are destined to be the biggest sluts ever names are Ashley and Brittany, so I just based this off of them.)  I smiled at her, trying to find a way out of actually talking to her.

“I’m Cameron and I’m new here so can to point me to the office?” Just then another boy walked up behind her.

“Ashley, I told you it won’t matter if someone catches us cause we’re late to class anyway.”

I realized that this was probably her boyfriend at the moment. I bet they’ve already cheated on each other like a billion times.

“Yeah, you should probably get to class.” I said; glad to have an excuse to get away from Ashley. Her boyfriend seemed to notice me finally.

“Hi, I’m Ian. I don’t think I’ve seen you here before.” He said, extending a hand. I shook it and smiled.

“I’m new here and my name’s Cameron.”

“Well, the office is down the hall and is the first door on the left.” He sighed and looked at Ashley. “Do we really have to go to class? I’d much rather be doing something else.”

I resisted the urge to gag and just turned and walked away, waving at them a little over my shoulder not really caring if they noticed or not. I arrived outside the office and noticed the tiny sign next to it that said faintly, “OFFICE.” I laughed at the irony. After all, it did have a sign, but one that was so small that one could barely read it. I pushed the door open and walked over to the receptionist.

“How may I help you?” She asked, not looking up from the papers she was filling out.

“I need my schedule cause I’m new here.”

“What’s your name?”

“Cameron Lamtin.”

She nodded and printed out my schedule and handed it to me, just as the bell rang again.

“You better go quick so you don’t miss second period as well. Oh, by the way, you’re rooming in room 89. You’re bags will be brought up later. Have someone show you where the boy’s dormitories are after classes are done.” She said.

I could tell she just wanted me out. I walked out of the office in time to see two girls walk out of a classroom and stop, yelling at each other. Everybody in the hallways looked shocked and confused, so I was glad I wasn’t the only one who was wondering what the hell was going on. The two girls were yelling at each other, something about how one of them doesn’t love the other and that they would in fact be able to live without the other.  They seemed to notice us and started rolling on the floor laughing while the rest of us watched in astonishment. They got up, hugged, and started skipping to their next class. I realized that my class was in the same direction they were heading, so I followed them. All of a sudden they stopped again and one of the girl- you know what? I’m just going to call her girl #1 for now- yelled,
