"i've completely wasted my first year because of some boy" you groaned ranting to osamu. "that's not entirely true" he said chopping some onions, "so you do think i've wasted my first year?" you asked.
"no that's not what i mean. i mean you've made new friends and we all love you, on and off the court" he said.

you and osamu had always been closer than you and atsumu, but that didn't change the fact that you and atsumu were quite close as well.
"first day back at practice tomorrow, how're you feeling?" osamu asked handing you a bowl of soup. "mid. i don't really wanna go to school tomorrow, but seeing as i have no choice..." you said looking at the soup.
"it's my favourite" you smiled.
