CHAPTER 16

Mikaella

Oh gosh.

I didn't even noticed how I held Steffi's arms tightly as my eyes were fixed at the people in front of us.

"Are you okay?" She asked. I guess I held her arm too tight.

I gulped and whispered at her. "I heard his voice. I hope I'm not wrong though." I sounded so nervous, I started questioning myself why I agreed to follow Mr. Kim. 

She chuckled as she softly held my hand. "Well honey, you're not wrong. Look." She immediately replied without looking at me. "Your husband is here." I, then followed to where she was looking at.

A loud gasped immediately escaped from my lips, that I quickly covered my own mouth after seeing Jeonghan sitting with the other staffs together with Scoups, Mingyu and Seungkwan. They probably didn't know that we are here as their back were facing against us. Oh I hope they stay that way so I can have the chance to get out of here.

I was quick enough to nudge Steffi's arm to call her attention. "We should get going while he's not looking Steffi." 

"Should we? Don't you want to get this----"

"Ella~ssi!"

Steffi and I both paused and held our breath. It took us a minute to exhale and compose ourselves before we look at Mr. Kim's direction.

Right there and then, I released a fake ass smile before I answered. "Yes, Mr. Kim?"

It may sound like I am lying but I was literally shocked when Jeonghan just sat there and looked at me. He didn't even looked a little bit surprised. Its as if, he has an idea that I'll be here.

"Everyone, this is Ella-- " Mr. Kim spoke before he paused. "Wait, may I know your full name Ella~ssi?"

Oh, its Mikaella Jaice Yoon.

Nah. I am not allowed to use his surname in public.

I forced a smile. "Mikaella Lee, Mr. Kim.  But, you can just call me Ella."

"Oh yes, this is Ella Lee. I'm gonna evaluate her today and see if she suits the character we are looking for your music video."

Wait what?!

That was felt like someone just dropped a bomb right in front of me. My eyes immediately dropped at Steffi who also looked so shocked at we just heard.

I held a deep breath holding unto Steffi's arm again. "I can't do this. If I get in, I'll gonna work with them. Steffi I can't." I whispered at her again.  "Please, let's just go. We need to lea---"

"Can you come here, Ella~ssi? I want you to meet the Seventeen members. Since its their music video, they'll gonna join me in evaluating your performance today."

Oh I felt like the world just stopped. Them? With Jeonghan? In front of him? While performing? I mean, what kind of performance should I show them? I am not as talented as what this man thinks of me. Adding the fact that Jeonghan is present in this room, I can't even stand being stared at him for a minute, how much more if its an hour? What should I do? Why am I here?

"I, uhm... I think I don't need a job. I mean, I think I am not qualified or suited for this character you are talking about Mr. Kim. I am not an actress nor I want to become one. Everything about this is new to me and its making me uncomfortable. I am not talented and I don't have any talents. My camera angles don't look good and I am literally not pretty. So, if I were you, I'd rather find someone out there suited for the character you are looking for because I can't do it. I just can't, I'm sorry."
