I originally thought that we were going to make our way back to the airport to board the private jet but instead, we stayed the night and almost the entire next day after Asteria's birthday party. But we did leave about an hour or so before the sun set.
Meaning Alessandra, Emmanuel and Sebastian would have some time to burn off the last bit of energy they have inside them for the day before they fall asleep on the flight back home.
"Mamá, cántame la canción . . . " Sing me the song. Alessandra softly says, laying her head on my lap while standing up.
"Vamos pues." Let's go then. I look at Elijah and nod my head towards the room, silently asking if he wants to help me put Alessandra to bed.
He nods his head yes and rubs Alessandra's back to get her attention, which it does. "Come here, princesa." I watch as he picks her up and she lays her head on his shoulder.
