╔═.✾. ═════════════ "Hello Taroumaru," I greeted as I entered the Komore Teahouse. He woofed happily at me as I brought in my supply of tea.
"(Y/n)!" I heard the voice of Thoma exclaim. Before I could turn to look at him I was pulled into a giant hug. Luckily I had already set the box of tea down so I could reciprocate the hug.
"Thoma! I haven't seen you in such a long time!" I exclaimed back.
"Let's go somewhere more private," He replied pulling back. "Taroumaru, keep a look out yeah?"
With a woof in approval Thoma and I walked into one of the rooms. We both took a seat.
Let me explain the situation. Thoma and I are good friends, there was barely a day without Thoma coming to visit me. Yet he then was called for his vision to be taken. I was terrified! Yet the mysterious traveller ended up saving him, but I haven't seen him since. So seeing him safe and sound was truly a relief for me.
"You have no idea how glad I am to see you," Thoma sighed out with a grin. I couldn't help but feel my heart skip a beat. I was fond of the 'fixer' of Inazuma, but I wasn't the only one. Many women fawned over him (me included), so I didn't get my hopes too high. He didn't seem like he was looking for a relationship anyways.
"Have you been here the entire time?" I asked out.
"Yeah," Thoma nodded. "It really sucks being stuck here. But it's better now that you're here!" I felt myself fluster at all the love he's showing me.
"I'm happy to see you safe," I smiled. "I'll try to come and visit so that you don't feel as lonely."
"I'd love that!" He exclaimed, eyes seemingly filled with stars. "How have you been? It's been so long since I last saw you."
With that I told him about how the city has been, and how it felt more dull without him. How most of my customers were concerned about him and asked me how he was. How I missed his daily visits, ect. I spent a few hours hanging out and talking with him. Yet I still had some more supplies to deliver so I had to go on my way. I promised I would visit him whenever I could.

Finally the vision hunt decree was over! The people of Inazuma felt safe again and most importantly...Thoma was finally able to come out of hiding.
Checking what I had to deliver today, I didn't notice the green eyed man behind me. Suddenly I was twirled around and pulled into a hug. I couldn't help but laugh along with Thoma as he embraced me, his warmth enveloping my senses.
"I'm finally free!" Thoma said joyously.
"I'm glad!" I replied.
"Come on, lets go on a date!" He grinned, his cheeks a rosy red.
My eyes widened, my heart beating faster than I think it should. I stared into his eyes, not sure I believed what I heard.
"A date?" I repeated out. "W-well I have a few things I must deliver first." I looked away and sheepishly scratched at my cheek.
"Then I'll help," Thoma said. "I want to see what's happened when I was gone anyways."
With that, we split the deliveries in half. It wasn't long until we met up at Uyuu Restaurant.
"It's good to be back," Thoma sighed as we went to take a seat. "Order whatever you'd like, this meal's on me."
"No no," I shook my head. "I can pay for my share so then it's even."
"Thoma! And (y/n)!" The familiar voice of Okazaki Rikuto, the owner of the restaurant, called out. "Long time no see."
"Yes," Thoma agreed as I smiled at the older man.
"You finally got the guts to ask them out huh?" Rikuto smirked, his arms crossed.
"Ah ha ha," Thoma laughed sheepishly, a blush spreading across his nose. I looked towards Thoma with curious eyes. Has he wanted to ask me on a date for a long time?
"I won't bother you love birds anymore," Rikuto laughed. "Tell me what you want, this meal is on the house."
After ordering, I decided to speak up, "How long have you wanted to ask me out?"
Looking off to the side, he leaned his head on his hand. That handsome smile still adorning his face he replied, "...maybe a year?"
Blinking at him I couldn't help but pout, "We could've done this much sooner then."
"Better late than never?" He said in a questioning tone. ╚═════════════.✾. ═
