"Hey (y/n)!" I heard a small chirpy voice call out. It was the one and only Paimon. "Join Aether and I on this commission we just got! It would be perfect for you to test out your strength!"

I was known for testing out my strength. But I was more well known for how I would come back from these tests beaten, bruised, and bleeding, near to collapsing every time. So I was genuinely surprised when they invited me out with them.

With a bright smile I couldn't help but reply with a cheery 'sure'. Walking towards the gates of Mondstadt, Aether explained the commission. There were Abyss mages found setting up a giant camp and some merchants needed to pass through that area. This wouldn't be as bad as I hoped it would. Since I could easily wipe them out I decided I'll test how much my body could take. (Though I don't want to worry Aether too much).

"(Y/n)! Aether!" A familiar bard's voice rang out. Looking behind me I noticed Venti sitting on top of the roof of a house. I felt a smile creep onto my face, I couldn't help but feel fondly towards the hidden Archon.

I knew his secret, though he didn't know I knew. I found out when I overheard him and the traveler talking. It made sense, I mean he looked eerily like the Archon statue.

"Where are you guys heading?" He asked out with the tilt of his head.

"We have a commission to wipe out a hilichurl camp," Aether explained.

"I see," Venti nodded, his blue eyes travelling to look at me. I stared back, his eyes showing nothing but concern. "Be careful!"

"Don't worry about us you tone deaf bard," Paimon said with a pout. "Aether is the honorary knight after all."

"Thank you," I replied with a nod to stop the argument that was about to start.

There weren't too many enemies, a few hilichurls, a mitachurl, and a ice and water abyss mage. Aether took them out pretty quickly, I got hit a bit (I basically acted as Aether's sheild). Walking back to Mondstadt, Aether let me lean with my arm slung around his shoulders. I didn't get to see the full extent my body could take so I was slightly annoyed.

Stumbling into Mondstadt, Venti was the first person to greet us. A frown graced his features as he saw the condition I was currently in and let out a sigh.

"I'll take care of them from here," Venti said with a slight smile towards Aether. "Thank you for taking care of them."

"Don't worry," Aether smiled slightly. "They helped me out a lot."

With that said Venti took my arm and put it around his shoulder instead.

"I thought I told you to be careful," Venti said seriously as we walked to the house I owned in Mondstadt. "How did you even manage to get this hurt?"

I let out a sigh. It warmed my heart that Venti cared so much about me. "I'll be fine Venti," I said with a slight chuckle. "I am every time aren't I?"

"That's not the point," Venti grumbled as I unlocked the door for us to enter. He sat me down on the couch and went to the bathroom to retrieve the first aid kit I keep. Coming back, he sat on his knees in front of me and started to patch up my arms.

I couldn't help but stare at his youthful features. His bright blue eyes matching his ombre black to teal hair. His eyebrows were furrowed and his lips downcast. I felt my heart turn as he was clearly worried about me. I really didn't want to worry him so badly, I guess I should finally tell him my little secret.

"Venti," I called out gaining his attention, wincing slightly as he dabbed my cuts with alcohol. "I have something to tell you." Venti glanced up at me, letting me know that he was paying attention. I took in a deep breath before saying, "I'm immortal, I found out when I was gravely injured but healed up quickly. I've been testing out how it works. Like of course I can't die...at least I think I can't die, but I don't heal right away either. I heal quicker than others though."

"(Y/n)," Venti mumbled, effectively shutting me up from my ramblings. "You should've told me sooner, I've been so worried."

"I'm sorry," I apologized. "Is there any way I can make it up to you?"

An innocent grin made it's way onto his pink lips, "I can think of a few."

I raised an eyebrow, wondering what he had in mind. Maybe he wanted me to buy him a bottle of dandelion wine?

Placing a kiss on my now bandaged arm Venti whispered out, "Kisses makes things feel better right?" I felt my cheeks heat up but I nodded at his question. "Then if you give me kiss it'll make me feel better, let's test this out!"

Before I could react Venti leaned up and gave me a kiss full on the lips. I let out a small gasp, the kiss ending as quick as it started. My eyes widened as I stared at the tiny bard. Yet my flustered state didn't last long as a devious grin settled on my face.

"That tiny kiss probably didn't outweigh the worry I gave you did it?" I asked rhetorically. "Here, let me help."

With that I gave him a longer kiss.
