To a new start of TaeKook's progress in Squad Goals!

I heard my alarm go off and quickly turned it off as I heard Jinnie hyung groaning since he doesn't want his beauty sleep to be disturbed-- I sat up and stretched before standing up to go to my bathroom to do my morning routine, but blushed when I remembered my and Kookie's conversation last night.

I internally squealed since I know that Minnie and Jinnie hyung are still asleep-- and as my mother says whenever she sees me and dada awake and eating, reading, or hanging out, she always say "like father and son", as me and my dad are both early birds. After taking a bath, and drying my body and hair, I wore my underwear and my uniform.

I fixed myself up like, putting on some powder and lip gloss, placing some hairclips on my hair and my accessories like earrings, braceletes, and rings before slowly but carefully walking out of my bathroom only to see Jinnie hyung up and trying to wake Minnie who only swatted his hand away.

"I see you're awake" I said and he looked at me then smiled

"Yeah-- and I still see you're an early bird as usual" he says then chuckles while I scratched my nape

"Yeah..." I slowly say as he continued to chuckle

"I'll head downstairs now-- you know where your uniforms are right?" I asked him as he rolled his eyes

"Tae, I stay over here for more than a month whenever my parents are busy going to places-- don't worry, I know where it is" he says and I nodded while taking my belongings before exiting my room and went downstairs

As I heard my parents' voices in the kitchen so I went there and found my mom cooking while dada was reading a newspaper-- I knocked on the entry way of our kitchen and they both looked at me and smiled while I did the same as I walked over to one of the seats by the counter.

"Morning!" I greeted

"Morning Tae bear/ morning baby bear" mom and dada greeted me back

"So... about Koo- I mean Jungkook, wha-"

"Don't worry Tae, I already gave permission since his father was actually my childhood friend" dada says and I looked at him in bewilderment

"You knew Jungkook's dad?!" I asked him and he nodded while mom giggled

"And I knew his mom since we were yoga classmates for pregnant women when I was pregnant with you, and she was pregnant with Jungkook" mom says and I looked at her to see her giving me a plate that has an omelette with  bacon on the side and a glass of water

"Really?!" I asked with wonder and she nodded with a hum

"Yep! But we never get to talk to each other once we got out of the class" my mom says and I took a bite of my omelette

"Do you stay in contact with Kook's dad, dada?" I asked my dad and he sighed and shook his head

"After getting the proposal from the Kangs, Jeon found out about it and asked me why I didn't ask help from him-- but I just ignored him like the plague and walked away, because I know that he'll get hurt if he helps me" he says and my mom held his hand while I looked at him sadly, but my eyes widened at a thought as I bit my lip

"Dada, d-did you and Kook's dad-"

"Yes, me and Jeon used to date-- until I had to break it off when your grandparents' arranged me and your mom in an arranged marriage that we didn't want since your mom had a girlfriend, while I had a boyfriend" my dad says and I felt that my eyes will go out of its sockets as I turned to my mom who nodded

"Wow! When Sungie bear said that none in our family are straight-- HE means it" I said, making both of my parents laugh at me

"But..." I paused and they both looked at me

"Do you guys still love your exes?" I asked and their eyes widened them smiled

"Of course not Tae, yeah, we miss them, yeah we loved them-- but as time flies by, me and your father learned to love each other, our exes were a part of our past that made me and your father close and happy, but as we had you and your brothers, happiness also came our way" my mom says as she hugs me while my dad held my hand and also smiled at me as he nodded

I teared up, fear that the reason why my parents aren't happy was because of our grandparents but I was happy that they love each other-- but still sad that they let their first loves go. But I still smiled and hugged my mom back as I also held my dad's hand, my mom soon pulled away and I looked up at her.

"Come on now, finish up your breakfast-- and good morning to you three" my mom says and me and my dad both looked at what she was looking at and saw my cousin, brother, and best friend there

"Where's Sungie bear?" I asked and Jihan hyungie pointed upstairs and I nodded

"Ok kids, you guys have to be early right?" My mom asks and we all nodded

"So chop! Chop! Tae, you're finished with your food-- go brush your teeth and ready your things, Sungie doesn't have school today since I have to get his report card" my mom says and we nodded once again

After I got all of my stuff and necessities then brushed my teeth and fixed myself up, I saw my cousin, best friend, and brother almost done fixing their things and themselves-- then we set off in my brother's car as he drove to our campus.

Once we got to the campus, Jihan hyungie parked his car and we all got out, Minnie and Jin hyungie all went towards their lovers, yes, lovers, they made it official at the dinner-- but enough about that, after I bid my brother a short 'see you later', I walked towards my other friends and felt my heart flutter as I saw Jungkook waving at me with a smile on his face, and I couldn't help myself but smile back at him and do a small wave as I continued to go towards them.

'Yes, to a fresh new start for us Jungkook'

Ok, I know this chapter is a little boring-- and I know that I'm to updating, but it's the final quarter for me before I graduate junior high! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

But anygays-- hope you still guys enjoyed this chapter ( even tho it's a filler and I have writer's block...) but still!
