prologue

Blake's POV:

I decided to go on a walk in the forest outside of Mantagrae, as I walk I hear the slight sound of a large animal, crying, I follow the sound and find a cave, I walk in to try to help the creature, and find a titan of a beast.

???: you thawe, stop.

Is this monster a child, and it can speak?

???: have you come to sway me?

Blake: no I came to help.

The monster hides itself. And as it retreats behind a rock it's voice changed into that of a child.

???: go away, I'ww onwy cause you pain.

Blake: now that I know you're a child, I'm not leaving until I know you're safe, eh?

???: you Humans, awwways da same.

Blake: but I'm not human.

???: wies!!

Blake: listen I don't want to force you to but if you won't come with me willingly, I'll drag you out of this cave, eh?

???: fine.

He gets up and walks to me. Now I get a good look at him, he looks about 3 or four, H/c hair, blood red eyes.

Blake: now that wasn't so hard was it, what's your name sweetie.

???: my name, Gowiad, that's what the oddews caww me.

Blake: Goliath, now that won't do, I think I'll call you Y/n, is that alright with you.

He nods his head. His stomach growls.

Blake: looks like someone's hungry, eh?

Y/n: no pwants, make me sick.

Blake: so you're exclusively carnivorous, eh.

He nods.

Blake: come on.

We walk to town and I see him looking at a guard like he's food.

Blake: we don't eat people okay.

Y/n: but he has a gun, kwaken taught me that if people have guns then theiw food.

Blake: well Kraken is wrong, those guns are to protect people.

Y/n: but guns awe, scawwy.

I walk over to the guard who has his gun out of his holster.

Blake: can you please put your gun away, there are children that are afraid of guns you know.

Guard: sorry miss.

He put his gun away.

Blake: there, is that better Y/n?

He nods, we go to a stake and fish restaurant, the waiter walks up.

Waiter: what can I get for you.

Blake: I'll have a fresh caught salmon please, and he'll have...

Y/n: F/m!!! Cooked wawe!!

He seems to be jumping in his seat.

Blake: okay Y/n, calm down.

As the waiter brings us our food, Y/n practically inhales it.

Y/n: yummy.

As I finish I take Y/n home, i see my mother and father.

Kali: blake, what's with the child, eh?

Blake: I found him in a cave on my hike.

Mom looks at him, she sees the rook like scails on his arms.

Kali: well this is a first, he seems to be some type of Reptile Feinus, but I can't figure out what he is.

Y/n: monstew, not Feinus.

Kali: I'd hardly call a sweet little boy like you a monster.

Kali: fine he can stay here but he's your responsibility, you're a mother now blake.

Blake: I'm 15 mom!

Y/n: mama?

My heart melts and I give in.

Blake: fine.
