I sat on the grass, damp with dew, and beired my face in his soft golden fur. "I'm so sorry my sweetheart..." I whispered as tears started to fall. I pulled him closer, his fur was cold yet I couldn't let go. Chris sat down beside me as soon as she saw the lifeless cat in my arms. "Oh Free...I'm so sorry.." She hugged me closer. I looked up at her, but I could barely see her through the tears. "Why....Why did he have to die?" I wailed, resting my face in her chest as Chris squeezed me tighter.

And there we sat, for 3 and a half hours, the lifeless body of my pet in my arms. "Come on Free. We'll find a spot to bury him." I slowly nodded, then kissed his furry forehead. I pick him up and Chris led me to a beautiful lilac tree, where we laid my beloved cat to rest. "G-good-bye my beloved kitty, I will always love you...."

.....Sorry about this....My cat died today and I really needed an outlet so I wrote this. If I'm gone for a while that's why, it could also be the opposite and I'll post a lot.
