When I finish, I wander around to see if I can find anybody, but alas, they must still be working. I decide to wait in my room and make my way there. When I reach my room, I hear a random beeping noise, almost like a ringtone.

I grab my gun from my waistband and slowly open my door. Holding my gun pointed down, I walk in quietly and slowly. The beepingish noise is coming from across the room. I walk towards it slowly and realize it's coming from my nightstand.

I open the drawer slowly and find the phone I took from the dude I may or may not have killed going off. The screen reads,

{Attempting to locate phone. FIND MY PHONE ENABLED}

Kill me now.

Well, I'm sure they're on their way to do just that.

How the frick do I disable this thing?

I do the only logical thing in that moment.

I smash it against the floor and the beeping suddenly stops.

I crouch down beside it and carefully turn it over. The cracked screen is black and I'm hoping the aggressive approach I took did the trick.

The thing is, I don't know if they did in fact locate the phone. It just said attempting to locate phone, so maybe they didn't locate it.

I think I should get ready to die.

I stand up with the broken phone in my hand. I glance around my room pointlessly.

Well, I'm already ready.

No I'm not.

Goodness I don't know what to do with myself.

"Aspen?" Sorin's voice catches my attention.

I turn around at my door quickly and put the gun in my waistband. I think the fear on my face catches his attention and his face turns concerned.

"Is everything alright?" He asks.

"Yes, everything is just fine and yourself? I mean how was work? I mean was the emergency okay? I mean obviously the emergency wasn't okay but is it okay now? I mean-"

"Aspen" He cuts me off. "What's wrong?"

He walks inside my room and I debate what to do. I should tell him, but then again, I don't know.

"Nothing, you just caught me off guard." I try to brush him off and sneakily tuck the broken phone under the blanket on my bed.

"Are you sure?" He asks, not fully convinced.

"Yes, is everything okay at work?" I try to change the subject.

"Oh yeah, it was simple. Anyways I'm here to bring you to Edith's if you still wanted to go." He says.

"Yes!" I get excited.

"Okay," He says with a soft smile, "Let's go then."

Sorin turns around to leave the room and I take the phone back from under my blanket and put it into my pocket. I decide to see what Edith thinks about all of this.
