I catch my breath after closing the door to my house. Nakasandal ako sa likod ng pinto at napapikit. My heartbeat is still accelerated which definitely not the effect of my running.

I have high stamina because of my job. The reason is probably the contact earlier. Even if I'm not around his sight anymore, I can still feel his stare.

It's mesmerizing and full of unknown depths. I wonder...if he still remember me?

Thinking of it makes my heart vibrate that send shivers down to my spine.

Ilang taon na rin ang lumipas. Damn. I don't know why but I smell trouble. I mean there's no way for him to visit here without a reason.

"Hey, love. You alright?"

I sigh and shove them out. I absurdly woke Faris up but he just replied me with a grunt.

"Argh! Stop it, Lanceyyy!"

"Wake up, dumbass! This isn't your house!"

Mabagal siyang bumangon ay ngumuso. "I'm still sleepy. And my head hurts!"

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. "Gago. 'Yan, inom pa." Namweywang ako. "Get up, Faris. Magsi-uwi na nga kayo sa bahay niyo."

I went to the kitchen at nilagpasan lang si Sejin na nakatitig sa akin. I place the food to the storage and drank water.

They look like waiting for their mother to give them food. But sorry to shatter their expectations. I'm not gonna do that. They are not kids anymore.

I wasn't even seated properly when I heard the familiar shouts of women in the plaza.

Damn. Don't tell me umabot sila dito?! What the heck?

No, they won't reach here. My house is on the edge. Walang kaaya-ayang makikita rito.

I saw Sejin and Faris coming out from the house. Maybe to look what's happening.

I was planning to waste my time on the twin mountain when I came across a small house.

I'm very much aware that fight here is ordinary. But aside from a man and woman's voice, I can also hear the faint sound of cries coming from children.

Napairap ako. Can't they argue without involving the kids? Do they know that it can affect their child's mental health?

I glance at the house once again. It became solemnly quiet that made my forehead knot. That made me change my direction.
