Sebastian gently laid the young woman down on the bed and made sure that she would be comfortable when she woke up again. He assumed she was asleep at least… He took a small glance at her again before going to make dinner for Lord Phantomhive. He started to prepare the dinner, first getting out everything he would need, putting on his apron, and pushing up his sleeves. He took a moment and paused, thinking of what the other demons would think if they saw him now. He immediately brushed off the thought and started to make dinner. He started by preparing the thing that would take the longest to cook-the roast lamb. Sebastian prepared it by making the sauce, brushing it onto the roast lamb which now lay in the pan. He chopped up some vegetables-such as carrots, onions, and some other vegetables. He laid some rosemary on the top of the Roast lamb to add more flavor and put the vegetables off onto the side of the Roast lamb in the pan. He put the roast lamb into the oven, and paused for a moment to think of how much humanity has adapted their technology to fit their needs-or at least-what they wanted as their civilization grew older. He chuckled softly at the thought and went back to cooking. Making mashed potatoes, chocolate cake with imported french chocolate, and a few other things. When dinner was finally ready, he prepared a tray of food for Ciel and Elizabeth. He thought for a moment before preparing a small plate of food for the young girl. He would deliver it up to her after putting Lord Phantomhive to bed. Judging by how thin the young girl was, he assumed she was conditioned to having small meals, so he prepared a small meal for her, along with a glass of water. He hid the plate and glass under a cloth and left a note to the servants not to touch the cloth of what’s under it or to look under the cloth or their would be consequences.

He left the food where it was and went upstairs and knocked on the door to ciel’s study. From behind the door he could hear a lady like laughter and and sound of a chair being pushed back slightly.

“Come in.” Ciel called from inside the room. Sebastian pushed open the door and looked over at Ciel and Elizabeth.

He bowed and then looked at the both of them. “My Lord, Lady Elizabeth, Dinner is ready.”

Ciel nodded. “We will be down in a moment.” Ciel replied and started cleaning up the chess set he had recently been using to teach Elizabeth how to play chess.

Sebastian nodded and went back downstairs. He grabbed the tray of food taking one last looking at the food under the cloth to make sure it hadn’t been touched before taking the tray out to the dining room. He placed the food in front of the seats that Lady Elizabeth and Ciel would be sitting in. He poured them glasses of fine wine and stood over by Ciel’s chair, waiting for them to come downstairs.

Eventually Ciel and Elizabeth came down to dinner, and it went as usual. Despite what it may have looked like, Sebastian was tuned out, in his own thoughts. When dinner was over, Sebastian snapped back to attention and brought out the deserts, after deserts he and Ciel wished Elizabeth safe travels and that it was nice to see her again. Sebastian put ciel to bed as usual and took the candle with him. Eventually he blew it out having no need for the light. He went downstairs and rinsed the dishes, which seemed to go painfully slow that day, even with his demon speed. Sebastian put them away and gently removed the towel covering the food and and gently took the plate in his hand along with the glass of water. He blew out all the candles in the room and made his way upstairs to the young girls temporary room.

He opened the door and shut in quietly. He made his way over to where the young girl was resting and set the plate and the glass on the nightstand. It took only a moment for him to notice that the young girl was sitting up in the bed shaking. He lit a candle as so the young girl could see and placed it on the night stand. The young girl looked at him out of curiosity, obviously looking somewhat relieved.

“Here. I brought you some food and water.” Sebastian spoke gently as not to frighten the young girl, and because everyone else in the manor was sleeping. The young girl reached over for the water and drank it. First in sips then in large gulps. Although, she only drank half the glass. While drinking, Sebastian had lit a few more candles around the room allowing for both of them to have a wider field of vision.

“Where… where am I…” The young girl’s voice rang throughout the room, yet she was still quiet.

“You are currently at Phantomhive manor…” Sebastian paused for a moment and looked at the young girl. “May I ask for your name?”

Cautiously, the young girl nodded. “My name… My name is Demetria.” Sebastian nodded and the young girl looked at the plate.         “...May I…?” Demetria asked, hesitation in her voice, as if fear of punishment lingered in the back of her mind. Sebastian only looked at her curiously and nodded.

“Of course you can.” The young girl nodded appreciatively and took the plate. She slowly ate her food, savoring each bite.

“If I may ask, where is it that you came from?” Sebastian inquired.

“I… I ran away from someone…” Demetria replied, wondering how the strange man would react. He was so kind, yet she wondered if he would react violently. He only nodded and watched her. When she finished eating he stood up and she set the plate on the nightstand. Sebastian took the plate in his hand and the water glass.

“If you would be so kind to follow me, I have a place that would be better for you to stay in, and would suit my needs and your needs a little better.” Sebastian said, his voice calm.

Hesitantly, Demetria nodded, and got out of the bed. Sebastian blew out all the candles except one. Demetria took it from Sebastian as he was already carrying things and he only thanked her flashing her one of his rare, small smiles. She smiled back slightly, not fully remembering how to smile as it had been a while since she had smiled. Sebastian lead the young woman down to his chambers and opened the door. Demetria walked in slowly.

She stopped for a moment just when she saw that cat laying on the bed. Sebastian waited by the door and looked at her. Gently, she set the candle down on one of the many stands in the room and walked over to the cat cautiously. The cat looked up at her purring softly as she sat down on the bed. The cat then continued to climb up onto her lap and curl up on her lap, gently licking her hand. At this, Demetria giggled in delight.

“Well, I hope you can get situated. I will be back in a moment.” With that, Sebastian closed the door ever so gently and walked off at a demon speed with the water and the plate. Down at the kitchen he rinsed them and put them away. Sebastian pocketed the note, figuring that he would need it later on, and back up he went to his room. When he entered he saw Demetria laying down with Mr.Snuffums curled up on the bed next to Demetria’s breast. Seeing that Demetria was fast asleep Sebastian grabbed a book from his bookshelf and grabbed the candle. He set it down on a stand and sat down in a chair. He opened to his book to where he had left off last time-page 345, and started to read his book, at a human pace that is. Sebastian found books to be much more enjoyable at a human pace then at a demon’s pace, it was just so much more thrilling to him, and this little worlds seemed to stay around longer when they were savored and read slower.
