Komiya's new outfit

Fast forward to the time of the battle with the Sauda Clan -
This time, involving me and Hasani, my now-husband.

As we met on the battlefield,
I said to the Sauda Clan, "So.... I heard you wanted to kill me.... I'd love to see you all try!"
The Sauda Clan had the audacity to laugh like it was something funny, and Leah was like, "Well, well, well.... we've been wanting to kill you since you were born! You wanna know why?"

I was like, "Do I look like I care about your reason? I just wanna see you try!"

I was like, "Do I look like I care about your reason? I just wanna see you try!"

As Leah yelled, "Charge!" The whole Sauda clan starting coming for me and my family.
I also yelled, "Charge!"
Then my clan and I met the Sauda clan in the middle of the battlefield.
As we fought, you're not gonna believe what Leah said to me.

In the middle of our sword fight, Leah was like, "Had your mother not taken the love of my life,
We wouldn't even be here on this battlefield!"

I laughed out of disbelief.
I said, "All this over my Baba?
And ain't your reason of marrying Ishmael is 'cause he's a docta?"

Leah laughed and was like, "You have no clue what you're talking about.
But it's okay, you're only 20.
You see, your Baba was gonna be my boyfriend, but your desperate mother took him from me!"

I laughed again out of disbelief, and asked Leah, "Does Ishmael even know you still have feelings for my Baba?"
And Leah was like, "Of course not!"

Next thing you know, Leah kicked me, got me on headlock, and was like, "By the way, I wanted you to marry Hakeem and not Hasani, just so that I can be near your Baba, FYI."

I stepped on Leah's foot, causing her to release me from headlock.
Then I got her on headlock and pinned her to the ground.
Then as I raised my sword, she yelled for her clan to retreat, and the whole Sauda clan ran off.

My clan and I were confused as of why the Sauda clan decided to retreat.
My mama revealed that her marriage with my Baba is the reason why Leah wanted to kill me as a baby.

I said, "Well, yeah, she told me she wanted me to marry Hakeem.
She and Ishmael went from team-bashing you to sending Hakeem to me."

As I mentioned before in part 1, Hakeem and I were friends when we were college freshmen.
I met Leah and Ishmael the time that he and Hasani invited me and my best friend Aiko to their home for Friendsgiving.

Aiko's new outfit

I recall Leah saying that I look like someone she knows.
I even recall her asking me if I see myself as a princess.
My response was: "Yes. Seeing myself as a princess is a part of accepting my worth while going thru growth."

Now that I brought up that flashback to my mama, it had me thinking deeply.
Even during the time that I didn't know I'm a ninja princess, Hasani and Aiko loves me genuinely.
Hakeem loved me for me - until Leah told him I'm a daughter of the Reign family.
Gosh, Leah definitely needs some heavy counseling!

We'll be having another battle next week.
However, I won't let any negative words of Leah get the best of me.
At the end of the day, Leah's the one who's jealous.
The way she expresses her jealousy won't stop me from remaining a ninja princess!

Shake Yourself Loose

A/N:
Now you see what Komiya did at the end of this poem? She shook herself loose from the negative opinions coming from Leah.

When we face someone who envies us and expresses their envy in a hurtful way, it's so easy for us to be offended by it simply due to feeling disrespected.

That's why we ask the Holy Spirit to help us guard our hearts so that we can be able to shake ourselves loose.

Isaiah 54:17a says that no weapon formed against you will prosper, and every tongue rising up against you, you shall condemn.
