Hearing his name leave your mouth, the boys eyes almost popped out " I was planning on asking you" you repeated with a sad tone
" W-why m-me and not somebody e-else?"
You chuckled as his face turned slightly red " Because of all the people I know, I like spending time with you the most" you confessed with a closed eyed grin
A warmth feeling coursed through Tamaki's body. Not only was he moved by your words but he was also beyond happy to know that all this time, you actually liked hanging out with. Because deep down he always thought that you just befriended him out of pity.
Intertwing his hands with yours he looked at you with the most serious and sweetest smile he had ever shown you
" I-I'm gonna make sure your d-dream comes t-true"
" Tamaki.." you whispered
The purple haired was aware that what he just said was impossible to realize. Because in the end, only one of you would make it out alive.
And now he was determined to make sure that person was going to be you.
Looking at the digital clock, the both of you saw that time was almost up
" What do you say that as game, we each throw one marble towards that wall" you stood up and pointed " And the one who gets the closest to it wins everything"
Not knowing anything else to play, Tamaki nodded in agreement
" You go first" you offered
Taking a shaky breath the elf eared moved his arm back and forth before releasing the marble. To luck the glass boll didn't roll close to wall. Rubbing the sweat of his forehead he stepped aside to let you throw yours
Bending a bit you looked from the boy to the marble between your fingers. A small smile spread across your lips and instead of throwing it you dropped the glass ball on the ground.
" Guess you win" you side glanced the boy whose eyes were as wide the moon
" So here are all my mar-"
" What was that?" The purple haired grabbed you by the collar and shoved you against the brick wall
" What? The thing slipped from my fingers" you chuckled
" Do it again! That's doesn't count" Tamaki yelled
Pushing your pouch of marbles against his chest the boy was about to protest further but stopped when he saw your face
" I know I have this dream that I want to accomplish. But my biggest wish has always been to be with you." You spoke with teary eyes
" To see you grow further and become an even more wonderful and amazing person then you already are"
" L/n.."
" So that's why I want you to get out of here "
Before Tamaki could say anything back the timer beeped signaling that the game ended.
Hearing heavy footsteps approching him, the elf eared turned around to see a guard with a triangle mask behind him.
Extending his hand he waited for the boy to give him the bag of marbles. Yet Tamaki held it firmly against his chest
Knowing he wasn't going to give it, you gently took the pouch from his hands and handed it to the masked man yourself
" Player 3 passed"
Tears now streamed down Tamaki's face as he knew what was going to happen to you
Smiling weakly you grabbed his face and used both thumbs to wipe away his tears " If you happen to see either Neijre or Mirio, wish them good luck from me"
Though you were glad with the decision you made, you couldn't help but feel your heart tighten as you watched him walk away
" Tamaki" you shouted, making him stop but not turn around
" Thank you for everything"
was the last thing you said before a gunshot was heard through the room
