Two weeks later,
James found Bucky sitting on the porch rail at his and Winnie's house.
"34 years old, and still I know when you sit here something is wrong." James said aa he sits on the porch swing..
Bucky smirked as he looked down.
"Did the girls go with Caroline okay?" James said
"Yeah.." he said
"Then what's wrong?" James said
"I very drunkenly slept with Izzy two weeks ago.." he said
"Drunken words are sober thoughts..and believe me son its no secret that girl is the one you love. We all know that hell even Joe and Sarah knew.." James said
"Dad now you sound like Caroline." He said
"Son, I know for a fact that Izzy has always been the girl that stole your heart. I've known since you were 13.." James said
He looked at his dad confused, "I have three sons, out of the three you are the loudest. I have walked by your room and heard you jerking your chicken and moaning oh Izzy Oh Izzy..and got worse after you two shared your first kisses together.." James said
Bucky looked down, and James walked over to him.
"The domino effect is you. You froze that morning, she finally said the words that you had been waiting for her to say and you panicked like she did when you kissed her. All of this could of been avoided son if you hadn't froze." James said
Bucky felt tears welling, "I'm gonna go talk to Izzy." Bucky said as he got off the rail.
When he knocked she opened the door, "Hey haven't seen you lately.." she said
"Izzy I love you, I have loved since I was 13. Its always been you who has had my heart. Im tired of keeping this inside me. Im done running, I froze that morning I was scared and for that I'm sorry. I'll jump through the many hoops you give me to be the man you deserve. To be the man I want to be for you." He said
She stood there speechless, then kissed him. He wrapped his arms around her "I'll give you chance." She said
"Do you need anything?" He said
"You to order us some food.." she said
"Okay." He said
