A week and half later,
"Izzy..I leave tomorrow, can we please talk?" He said
She pushed him out of her room and shut the door. "Izzy don't." He said as she closed it.
The next morning, she said her goodbyes to her brother at home. Sarah and Winnie rode together with James. The boys had to be at the bus station early.
"Where's Izzy?" Bucky said
"She's not coming.." Steve said
Bucky fought back tears and swallowed back a lump in his throat. They said their goodbyes to their parents. Bucky got a seat in the back and tried his best to forget her face that morning.
He wrote letter after letter, they all went unanswered, when they got their electronics back he tried phone calls, emails and texts as well. She never responded and didn't come to family day or their graduation.
The boys were stationed at Fort Benning in GA after they completed basic training.
