I felt like I had to say something so I met in private with Shigaraki later.
"Hey- um, I'm sorry I didn't say anything earlier. I probably should've. But I'm here for you as well."
"No, it's okay, I get it. And thanks." Shigaraki looked at the floor. "You're really not the same person you were." Now I'm confused.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, just about a year ago you were just a wimpy little kid and now you're out here killing people like it's nothing. And you got All For One to favor you. He gave you this awesome quirk already. That's gotta mean something. You grew fast." Is he initiating a meaningful conversation with me? What is he on?
"Oh yeah? Why are you telling me this?" This is odd for him. He doesn't express emotions like "normal" people, he'll just pour it all out when he's trying to kill you.
"Dunno. Just felt like I should say it." There he is. "You're good at- at- being- being human is what I'm trying to say. I think." Untrue. "But you're gonna help us get All For One back, right?"
"Yeah, of course."
"Alright. Now go somewhere else, this is a waste of time." Thank goodness. Keeping conversation is hard.
