It had been almost a week since the IG post and a whole lot of hate had rolled in Tala's social media. She couldn't understand why. But what hurt more was the fact that Karl wasn't talking to her.
Karl though, streamed all day that week, for hours and hours until all of his friends would get in the vc to tell him to stop. She would mod but when the fans saw she was, they would spam his chat or just her dms and she would be forced to get out of the stream.
So she busied herself in what she does best; painting. She didn't have any commissions that week, it was her rest week so she just painted aimlessly. She lived in her shack/studio.
The cousins were worried, they didn't realize how bad it was until Sinag had explained to them that Tala had to deactivate her instagram, the same one that she had been using for her art.
Sinag clenched her jaw when she saw the silhouette of her sister stand up from her chair and took off the canvas off the easel and then placed another one. "That's her 5th one today." Sadie pointed out.
"Did you give a statement?" Sam asked Sinag. The younger Reyes scoffed, "Don't word it that way, it sounds so-" "Media." Lucas said.
The eldest Reyes was furious, they never had to deal with anything like this. He wanted to be angry at Karl, but he saw the way their Tala was happy everytime she would post anything remotely to Karl. He could never blame him, from what he heard about the lad, he shouldn't be put responsible to anything his fans are doing, and this wasn't anything different.
Although he was mad, mad at how Karl seemed to be going on with his life while their Tala was beating herself up as if she had done something wrong.
But Tala saw, she saw the difference in Karl. He didn't smile as wide or laughed as loud. His eyes didn't light up like usual and the sullen look in his eyes broke her heart too many times she would admit.
Karl on the other hand would fight hard with his friends so that he wouldn't stop streaming. He didn't like not doing anything, he liked being busy and not thinking about it.
He would only stop when Sienna would threaten him to stop with the help of Dream. But besides that he wouldn't.

It was the 6th day. He stared at his phone with his mouth gaped. Ever since that post, he refused to open any form of social media except when he streamed.
But there he was now, on his timeline to see her tweet. His heart broke more than it already was. He couldn't believe it, the people who claim to be his supporters, and the ones that claim to love and appreciate and care about him hated on Tala.
The girl that made him smile more, the one that inspired him to make more content, the one that made him more confident, they hated on her.
He couldn't understand why. That was until it hit her, its because of how he acted.
He groaned and plopped back to bed. He placed his hands onto his face, it was wrong for him to ignore her, to distance himself. She must have hated him, he would if she was her. "Dammit."
