Tala fixed her hair and made sure she didn't have paint on her face. The moment Jojo started to call she answered it. A brunette girl with freckles and glasses greeted her.

She waved and smiled, "Hello! It's so nice to see you!" she said. Tala smiled, "You as well. Sorry about being late. I was working on a commission." She said.

Jojo smiled, "Its fine, don't worry. This moderating thing? It's not a job, you give what you can. And whatever you can give is enough, don't think otherwise." She explained.

Tala nodded in understanding, "So have you modded before?" Jojo asked. Tala pursed her lips and sighed, "I'm gonna be honest with you Jojo, my sister actually forced me to apply." She admitted.

Expecting a different reaction, Tala was surprised when Jojo sent her an understanding smile. "That's okay. Everyone you will learn. That is if you're still actually willing to do is or..." she trailed.

Tala smiled at her, "I am actually. My sister's right, this might be good for me." She said. Jojo smiled wide and clapped, "Great! We'll go through the basics on what we do and then we can go straight to the chat." She said.

They talked about the job, being there for streams, plans, banning, interacting, the modes and even ads and polls. Jojo had told Tala that it was a voluntary thing and the mods have equal labor so if she wasn't available that day she can be there for the next one.

"Don't feel pressured, everything you will do will be appreciated." Jojo said with a reassuring smile. Tala let out a relieved breath. This made the mod laugh, "Don't worry. Out of the many streamers in Twitch, Karl is possibly one of the nicest one out there." she said.

Tala chuckled, "Okay then, if you say so." She said. "So ready for the gc?" she asked. The Reyes hummed and nodded, "Great! Off we go!" she said as they exited the call and made their way to the chat.

After talking to the rest of the mods, they had shared their screen to the call for Tala to watch what was happening. She got the jist of it through watching Jojo and Taylor mod for another Twicth streamer, Quackity.

She had thouroughly enjoyed the interactions between the two mods and the chat. She also caught a glimpse of them deleting messages and blocking people.

Jojo had explained everything that she needed to know. To say the least she had learned everything quickly from how Jojo had explained it.

As Quackity wrapped up the stream Jojo had told her that there would be a stream tomorrow. "And you should mod." She said. Tala's eyes widened, "Me?" she asked. Jojo chuckled and nodded, "Yeah." She said.

Tala shook her head, "Don't you think it's a bit early?" she asked. Jojo shook her head and smiled at her, "You have to start somewhere and tomorrow's stream is that somewhere." She said.

The Filipina bit her lip, not sure but Jojo sent her a reassuring smile, "Me and Kenz will be there. Just follow us first and then you'll get used to it." She said. Tala sighed and nodded, "Okay if you say so." She muttered.

Jojo chuckled, "Don't worry, we all started like this but one day you'll get used to it enough that it's like second nature." She said and Tala sent her a small smile which made the veteran mod chuckle, "You'll do great."
