On the second day of the kidnapping incident, Zhou Shuo rushed to City B with his lawyer and took over some follow-up negotiations with the police. 

Song Yan, as Ji Qin's cousin, knew that Ji Qin had no major problems except for some injuries but he still made a special trip to express his condolences.

The two sides met at the entrance of the hospital. Zhou Shuo nodded to Song Yan, saying hello.

Song Yan was a little sad. Although Zhou Shuo didn't talk much when he was a child, the relationship between them was good. During the time when Xia Lin ignored him, Zhou Shuo would secretly hand Song Yan a message or something.
