I looked out of the window and instantly felt nervous. Mostly because he was blocking my view of the rain. I looked at him adjusting my vision of him.

I walk to the front door and open it. To my surprise the delivery men came with all of the packages. I opened the gate once more and he was able to fit his mid sized truck in the driveway. I close the gate and they get out of the truck. The open the back and start being packed and boxes inside of the house. My godfather brought in everything from the car and started washing the fruits and putting everything neatly in the fridge. He had everything that would be going into dinner tonight in a basket on the counter.

Set out the fruits to dry and then started helping the men put the furniture together. That gave me enough time to cut up the onion,tomatoes, and everything that would give the food its flavor. I even put the seasoning in a small bowl and covered it. I prepped everything so that he could just help me cook it with ease. That took me twenty minutes. After doing that I put the fruits in the new crates I had gotten online. I put the others in a cute glass bowl that was a bit huge but held all of the fruits perfectly. I washed the new set of pots, plates,glasses, and silver wear and put it on my dish drainer.

The last few days I had managed to eat salads and smoothies. Nothing that required too much cooking and silverware. Now I could actually have full and complete meals. I set up the whole kitchen and had the men put up the shelves and other things I needed in it. Along with the wall decors and more. That took a good ten minutes.

After the kitchen was set I helped to direct them where to out the couch and the side table and coffee table. I also told them what I wanted on the table and what I wanted on the wall. Most of the boxes were empty at this point.

They are working on putting the book shelf together and my godfather was working on the wall shelves in the other room. Let's just say it took them a good hour to set everything thing up. After that they put all of the books on the shelf. That concluded their hour.

It took it upon myself while that hour lasted to fill each mason jar with herbs and label them. I started walking to each room and putting the jars on the shelves. I did it successfully and was able to help with putting the books on the shelf. After completing it all. I added the additional decor and watched as they set up the television and record player. I unboxed the plants soon after and put them on the shelves and other places throughout the house. After doing so I put the records in their designated spot.

The last thing the men did was put up all the cute lighting throughout the house. After that, I was good. It was 8:30 and they were exhausted I'm sure. I gave them a bug tip each and they thanked me. They took all of the empty boxes with them to recycle. I closed the door and locked it. I walk back to the living room area. My godfather was in the kitchen starting the dinner for the night.

I felt more at home now. I felt so comfortable. No wonder why they say home is where the heart is. It matters how your home feel. It is the place you spend most of your time. It should be the place where you feel safe a secure.
